Hate.

People throw this word around so much it now has the same meaning as dislike.

It is annoying as I'm having to try and use other words to convey my feelings, such as "Loathe" and "Despise".

And all past/present/future mix ups (They may say "I writ that" not "I wrote that" and the suchlike)
ALSO THIS! Writ, drawed, sleeped...THESE ARE NOT WORDS! I can only forgive non-english speakers for words like this.
I once heard someone say, and I quote the exact words, "What do we do once we gone done catched them ball?"
I tell no lies.

Also got another: All those words that apparently mean "Good".
Ones like "Rape." (I know!) "Nectar" "Cracking" and loads more, even worse.
I'm sorry....RAPE?! Unless it 'oil seed rape', its never a good thing! 'Cracking' is a pretty old colloqialism (please excuse my spelling).

You're your
Their there they're
too to
loose lose

Could care less, though I do use it sometimes. Only when I do care, but don't consider something important.

Awesome and epic, as somebody mentioned earlier.

And of course, anybody who says lol, omg, or such in speech, needs to die in a fire. I can barely stand it in text form...
I mean seriously, is it really that hard to type 'ha!'

"That person feeded that other person!" (It's FED, If you don't know what this means play some MOBA games :p)
As the OP stated, "Irony" is being abused a lot. 0.o
Their, There, They're, Where, Were, We're. <-- Yea, those are all different. Did you know?
"You are so Gay, you fucking Fag!" (The meaning of Gay has been murdered beyond repair, and other than the fact that using it as an insult is dumb, Fag means something else entirely in English :p Lol)

I hate the misuse of the word 'bias'. Someone'll come into a thread and go "that source is bias".

No it fucking well isn't!

It's 'biased' dipshits!

I also hate it when you have a discussion with someone on a forum (usually an early to mid teen) and they think to themselves "herp derp I need to sound smart, I'll get a dictionary and replace every word with a smart one". It's like someone's constructed Frankenstein's monster out of words, it doesn't make them sound smarter or more intimidating, it makes no actual sense.
I do believe you mean a Thesaurus, thats the handy book you use to find words that mean the same thing as other words.

That's understandable. I feel that way about 'innit', 'bruv' and 'blood.'

"epic", "fail", "lol", to name three. Grossly miss-used words, and very basic words of opinion that doesn't explain what you're saying either of those words to.

ugh people at my school have started using the word "buff" as a replacement for hot, as in "man that girl is buff" what? hot, skinny, fit, any of those, but buff? she is in no way muscular and if she was would you find her attractive still?

I'd like to set ablaze the next dickhole who tries to justify their close-minded bullshit by calling it their 'philosophy'.

I've seen way too many people use "ignorant" as meaning "Stupid", or "Unintelligent". It means uneducated in something, that's all.

You should retrain him to not use that phrase. Punch him in the baby maker every time he says it.
