Basically so long as they don't take down XBL and the escapists (again). I'm fine with whatever they want to do. Simply because it won't affect me. or least theres nothing I can think of that would.

See this is the point. This is why we need this to happen. Entirely too many people will set idly by while injustice is perpetuated, all because it does not effect them personally.

Ive watched with Disdain while people will sit and defend major conglomerates that trample on rights and freedoms and undermine the fabric of the economy. Behaving like these corporations and organizations are some benevolent benefactor who are looking out for your best interests.

When you have people who would willingly do this, how do you get them to stop that self destructive behavior? It takes a jolt to the system. Ripping people away temporarily from the entertainment that enthralls them into complacency is an insignificant price to pay.

We cannot keep ignoring these problems, we cannot keep the selfish mantra of "if it doesnt effect me, why should I care?" because these issues effect everyone. Your entertainment is irrelevant to the price of your freedom.

Lulzsec isn't a jolt to the system, it's just annoying. Don't try to hide their shenanigans behind the veil of "the greater good" bullshit. They are dicks doing dick things for the sake of being dicks.

Im not defending Lulzsec. I am railing against the complacency that runs rampant that forces groups like Lulzsec and Anon to exist and do things of such a drastic degree because telling people how they are hurting themselves just doesnt work.

As for being dicks, seriously, what exactly did Lulzsec do that harmed anyone? Was any credit card information used? Will one single person who had their identity stolen related to the antics of Lulzsec, anon or any of these parties please kindly step forward?

Cause all Ive seen them do thus far is point out how weak internet security is and inconvenience people for a limited time.
