I dislike Fox News. Truly, I do. I disagree politically with almost everything they say, I've never viewed their pundits as a fair and balanced representation of the Republican party, and a lot of the times they speak utter bullshit (not to say other news networks don't do this, but that's a separate issue for another topic.) Anyway, my point is, I don't like Fox News.
But I don't like that Anonymous is attacking them.
Anonymous recently announced they were going to attack Fox News and its pundits (Sean Hannity, Bill O'Reilly, Glen Beck) for their comments regarding the Occupy Wall Street protesters. Again, I disagree with Fox News' stance on the movement, but I will never, EVER endorse a group for attempting to shut down anyone's freedom of speech.
Fox News have a Constitutional right to say whatever they want (within obvious confines) and that goes for their opinion on a divisive political movement. Attacking them for expressing their right to free speech is not only illegal, it's just plainly amoral. Just think about this. If they were attacking blogs who supported the movement because they disagree with it, would you think that would be fair?
Feel free to discuss what you think of this, but please try to keep it civil.
