Well I guess this is one of two things. Either Anonymous is having some fun by doing something ridiculous like this (although attacking the Weather Channel, while in character, does seem a little excessive) and having a big laugh. I mean "Don't wear jackets, gloves, mittens, scarves, or snowpants. We will not allow snow to dictate what we wear."? That's great!
Or they've got their heads so far up their collective asses smelling their glorious shit they've gone insane and just decided to declare war on sanity itself (starting with snow).
I'm going with the joke theory.

If they follow through with their rules they'll lose a shit load of members due to the illnesses caused by their weakened immune systems and of course old man winters favorate fuck you, frost bite, to the point of your skin turning black.
I think they're just joking, don't get to worked up over it.
An idea comes to mind of the Anonymous leader dressed up like Hitler yelling out Snow is Evil propaganda to the masses. Then going so far as to put snows in the gas chambers and killing them.

Could it be? Could Anonymous actually be.....dare I say it, TROLLING? I didn't think I'd ever see the day where Anonymous, of all groups, would resort to trolling, but lo and behold...
Wouldn't an attempt to create a significant change in global temperature be more logical rather than shooting the messenger... website?!?
Besides, the problem is not with snow, but the factors that relate to snow, e.g.:
1. We're still expected to be on time despite the magical whims of anyone "above" us, be it bosses, teachers, managers, ect.
2. It's one of those things that are taxes do NOT go towards. Yeah, let's just let all of that white stuff create an automotive death trap every which way because we have to buy more cocaine!!!!
3. Drivers that were already incompetent devolve into a lower creature that would be better off in front of a moving vehicle rather than behind the wheel.
4. By extension, physics crumble as the concept of "momentum" transforms into "drive really slowly so that when we hit that incline, we slide backwards and rear-end every sorry sap behind us!!!!
5. Your school or workplace is never closed, will never be closed, and yet the lazy sons of -itches in the dumbass schools or the "let's make shadow-puppets!" department finagle a way into snow day freedom.
