Another A.I thread: Actual good A.I

I always love it when the A.I mindlessly runs infront of me to shield me from fire or a grenade
but one of the coolest things i saw is on Star Wars Battlefront 2 where the A.I gave covering fire to each other and they even tried to dodge mines by jumping over them or rolling underneath them(albeit not very successfully).
And there's always the unintentional dive out of harms way..... off of a cliff(that always amuses me to no end).

I was playing GTA san andreas, and a cop crashed into me, and said "I'm gonna kill you!" and I got one star. I was not moving at the time.
Once, during a session of GTA IV, I accidentally shoved some guy in a crowd and he started attacking me. I was about to shoot him, but before I could, a cop ran up and arrested him. In all my years playing GTA, the cops have always enforced the law, but only for me. I've never seen them come down on someone else who was breaking the law. I found it pretty impressive.

A.I.: Companion(Charon in particular.)
event: we were attacking Paradise Falls. I'm fighting with Jotun, when charon bursts in the room with his shotgun. "FLANK 'EM!!!" shoots two slavers dead while we flanked Jotun and the others. When I realized i was taking advice from pixels, i just puased the game and sat there.

In Gears 2 I chainsawed a locust from the bottom while Cole chainsawed from the top. It was insanely cool when our chainsaws met in the middle. (I think i need to see a psychiatrist after that blood bath)
I've had something like this before. I punched an old woman in the face, as you do. And two black men proceeded to defend her. They dhoved me about a bit, and got a couple of punches in, when a police car drove past, stopped, and shot them dead as they ran away.Space Spoons said:

Another time, the cop car that was speeding after me ran a woman over, who went flying into the middle of the road, to have a bus skid over her.
And in police shootouts, live human shields are hilarious. Especially when the police continue to shoot.

One AI moment that made me laugh a little is playing FEAR. I was at the top of some stairs with several AI at the bottom. I killed a few of them and they were hiding in the adjacent hallway. I had them pinned in and killed any that tried to rush me. One of the AI shouted "Get him!" and the other answered "No way!"
haha, I love it when the AI knows they're beat.
On the flip side HL2 ally AI always annoys me. I always have to tell them to stay put, especially on levels with striders because they always get themselves killed. They always want to stick to me like old chewing gum and will run through a rain of bullets to do it.

I'n Gears of War 2, in the first level underground, Carmine was the star of the show for a while. My friend and I gave covering fire while the A.I. advanced and proceeded to chainsaw everyone.
And in Call of Duty 4, I was going through "All In" on veteran and I came around a corner and there was a guy in front of me. Just as I was about to die his head exploded. It was the A.I. sniper team in the woods. They saved my life.
