Yes I know I done two of these in the past and since necroing an old thread would get me a warning, I doing another one that is worthy of your attention!

The last two trailers were a tease and doesn't really show the carnage of the titans so behold the violence fest feature in this trailer!

So does the trailer change your mind toward the film or are you still disinterest?

For me (haven't watched the anime yet) it kinda peak my interest but I still got a mixed feeling towards the live action titans. They look silly at time but at the same time frightenning (like that titan baby part in the trailer).

Granted there are proper reviews from it but from what I gather the film itself seen to have mixed reception (some say its bad while another say its decent).

Man, even the titans look Japanese. It's also super obvious when it's a CGI titan and when it's just an enlarged live-action actor. Nice how there's no colour either.

Just keep this silliness animated, for Christ's sake.

Because as we all know, that totally doesn't fit the titans. Not at all.

(That said there were a few parts of the trailer that made me think they were silly in the 'ok there's a greenscreen' sense)

I really don't think AoT suits live action that much. In the show, the action and animation were about the only things going for it in my eyes, but this just looks slow and awkward.

This. Animation hides a multitude of ridiculousness and still images even more so. It's something you notice with superhero suits as well as this, when you see some of it in live action you realise how idiotic it looks in full motion.

I didn't like what little bit of the anime I saw and while I was somewhat interested by earlier trailers my interest has been waning and, waning and, waning to the point where I just don't even care about it anymore. That being said, this was probably the best trailer I've seen for the movie but again, I don't see myself ever seeking this out when I still haven't seen the Ace Attorney movie...and I've only seen Devilman like 2 or 3 times...and I haven't seen the Samurai X movie...

From the early impressions we're getting out of Fantasia Film Fest and press screenings.......meh.

That... actually looks kind of fun. In a goofy, probably-better-with-subtitles-turned-off kind of way.

The live-action titans look pretty dumb though. I'll take the iffy CGI ones over those any day.

The grappling hook ("vertical maneuvering gear" or whatever they call it) action looks pretty cool. Better than I would have ever expected. I suppose, now that I think about it, that it's a natural fit for wire-fu shenanigans.

Overall, not gonna lie, I now want to watch this.

I'll probably end up watching it. Not really sure how I feel about this trailer. I liked some of it, but not other parts. I think I'll have to see it a little less chopped up to get a feel for how silly or serious it is. Like a full scene.

Not sure if this is what we asked for ... or if we really needed a live action. I was hoping for AoT Season 2 ... please? Animators?
We'll get it. Eventually. I know the studio said they were going to work on another series first, and then make season 2 after that. They may be trying to let the manga get ahead a bit to give them something to adapt. Honestly, I went ahead and read the manga and I'm not sure where Season 2 will end at this point.
