Seriously? btw, spoilers ahead if you have not completed this... But I finaly get fable 3 after so long of refusing to get it due to bad reviews, but I saw some LH hype about a "fully voiced character" and they somehow manage to make them the most annoying addition ever, she crys when his/her butler dies, I mean all the choices I (tried) to make up until then were evil, why should I care if some old man dies? What would have been perfect is if I could just choose at the start to betray either my brother (what it forces you to do) or to be evil and side with him and just kill all protesters and maybe the lover you have at the start because he/she got in your way, forcing me to make promises to people too, I spent a while looking for a way to leave when I had to make the first promise... I mean sure you can choose not to do them afterwards... but to be truly evil I should have been able to tell em where to shove their promise then walk on over to the bandit village and be like "hey guise, lets rule the world kay?"

And my biggest annoyance.... at the end all the "evil" stuff you do turns out to be good... just in a slightly more cruel way.. where as good is just spoiling the people before they eventually perish anyway, so theres no true evil option in reality, just good and then good with a twist.

So, my point of this thread, aside to get my frustration out is to ask: "is there anyone that actually enjoyed this game like the other 2?"

i enjoyed it & found that you could offset your evil deeds pretty easily by donating money to hobos. i really thought the multiplayer thing was so-so at best. there really wasnt much of a benefit to playing MP because (like most games) by the end of the game, money wasnt much of an object

I thought the evil character in fable 3 was terrible you basically say someothing bad then everyone around you goes TSK TSK and then you are forced to do the good thing anyway.

I like fable 3 but the morality thing is just a joke.

That's the point. The name of the quest is "Do the ends justify the means?" or something to that tune. You're supposed to acknowledge that to be the good guy, you have to do evil, oppressive things.

That said, yes, it was very mishandled. It had the potential to be downright prolific, but flopped unfortunatly. Better luck next time, Molyneux (did I spell it right? Guy has a weird-ass name).

To answer your question, I did enjoy the the game overall. It was fun and interesting, if only briefly. Never played the others though.

I'm pretty sure the butler never died. You might be thinking of
Sir Walter Beck, your mentor and surrogate father figure.

Personally I enjoyed Fable 3 much more than Fable 2. I'm normally a fan of epic, in-depth RPGs (on the PC), but even so I enjoyed it because it was exactly what I expected from an action-adventure console game with light RPG elements. I thought the story was better than Fable 2's nonexistant plot, and I liked more of the characters.

It's never going to be one of my all-time best games ever, but I thought I got my money's worth and I enjoyed playing it.

Well i never played fable 1

and Fable 2 was one of the greatest games ever made imo

so no i didn't enjoy it like fable 2, but i did enjoy it,
Even

though the evil choices made much more sense in the fact that Albion was going to be destroyed and you needed mucho cash to stop it but the crazies couldn't get that through their ignorant skulls
