Well this doesn't include me since I just lisned to all the CD's my Dad already owned.
Don't you listen to any contemporary music? Have you ever bought an album? If you answered yes to any or all of these questions this thread is for you.
No, not really. I listened to all the classics as a kid. Then I listened to some of today's music on TV or friends burnt me a CD full of their favourite songs but I am just not interested.

The only CD I have bought is the Metallica's Death Magnetic and I didn't really like anything on it which is a shame since they are one of my favourite metal bands. But thanks for asking.

I guess this thread really is not for you. I am glad the hear someone say they did not like Death Magnetic. Everyone treats it like the greatest album ever and I, much like you, think that it stinks. No matter what people say, it is not even close to their early work.

Well it could be the best album by today's standards. And no matter what anyone says, the classics will always be the best.

First Album I ever bought... I think it was Green Days American Idiot.

top 7, in order, are

Drunken Lullabies - Flogging Molly
Way of the Warrior - Dropkick Murphys
Swagger - Also Flogging Molly
Highway to Hell - AC/DC
Load - Metallica
Float - Once again, Flogging Molly(I wanna rank it higher, but i only bought it for Requiem For A Dying Song and Paddy's Lament)
Fastway - Fastway (Fun Fact: Fastway's Vocalist is Founder and Vocals of... You guessed it, Flogging Molly!)
