Hey, you don't need to qualify yourself for making another one of these threads, some of us NEED more Skyrim. I've had to temporarily stop playing in order to give my little brother a go, and I'd have gone into withdrawal if it wasn't for threads like these filling the time.

OT: From what I've heard (and seen in screenshots) there's copies of a book called "The Lusty Argonian Maid v2" around in Skyrim.
Oh i have that book, its a....intersting read :3

Yeah, I have that same problem when my cousins come over. Fortunately, I'm the only gamer in my immediate family. As for the Lusty Argonian Maid v2, I'm simultaneously overjoyed and deeply disturbed...

I got a quest to investigate some strange lights. I'm pretty sure that was a quest in Oblivion.
Can someone clarify that?
If I remember correctly that was the quest starter for Shivering Isles

OT: aside from people mentioning the Amulet of Kings towards the beginning, I came across and old orc in the wilderness who claimed to be waiting for his last ultimate fight because Malacath told him the opportunity would be there. It wouldn't surprise me if he was from Oblivion or Morrowind, although I don't remember making any orc lose the will to live in a TES game.

I found the corpse of Sinderion, a guy who gave you a quest in Oblivion to collect every Nirnroot (Finding your roots). next to his body is also a red Nirnroot and picking it up starts the quest "going back to your roots". Pretty nice easter egg. :p

I found the Lusty Argonian Maid: Volume 2.

Still haven't found a Dwemer ruin yet, though... does anyone know where one is?
You go to one for part of the College questline, if I remember correctly.
That's really all I can say without spoiling the chain.
Awww, I don't want to do those quests as a fighter...

Guess it's back to exploring! *closes Google Chrome*
The College questline really doesn't require you to use magic at all. You just have to use one spell to gain entrance to the college (Which you get for 30 gold if you don't already know it) and that's basically it. Actually, fighting the super boss that shows up in the questline (Molokov) is ridiculously hard as a Mage, but super easy as a Warrior.
SPOILER TAGS. USE THEM.

For fucks sake, are you trolling or just stupid?
'You don't need Magic to complete a quest chain' is a spoiler? He was concerned about doing it as a melee-centric character, so I said it was possible.

Unless you're referring to Molokov. But Molokov isn't mentioned before you fight him, he isn't mentioned after you fight him, and the only reason that you even know his name is because it shows up next to his health bar. So there isn't even anything to spoil there.

Well how the fuck should I know? I havent even started the damn thing yet!

Just... Spoiler tag the damn thing next time. I thought he was some mega-boss that the whole questline leads up too.
lolno. I called him a superboss because that's what he is. Molokov has the highest stats of ANYTHING I've fought so far. He could literally take on 2-3 Dragons easily. (He isn't the final boss of the questline, though)

I needed 50% + 60% + 20% + 50% (92% total) of resistances just to survive his attacks.

This is a spoilerific thread, if you don't want spoilers you shouldn't be here in the first place.

- There's a book describing the events of Oblivion, I think it's called 'The Oblivion Crisis' or something along those lines.

- Sheogorath mentions the whole Oblivion thing and says he was there, possibly referencing the fact you could choose to become Sheogorath in Shivering Isles.

I just thought. And do correct me if I'm wrong or if I missed something out as I'm not a TES Lore Master. But assuming that the protagonist of Oblivion went to the Shivering Isles and went through the greymarch etc. Does that not mean that the Sheogorath you speak to in Skyrim is the protagonist from Oblivion? I mean, think about it. It's not like Sheogorath DIED in Oblivion, he became Jyggalag. And gave his powers to the protagonist, effectively making him/her the new sheogorath.

Would love some input on this.

Yeah I found him and he wished me a good day. He then said he never lies.

My brain got confused when it happened.

I know this has nothing to do with the thread, but WHERE THE HELL DID YOU GET THAT PIC!

Not exactly but I did walk past a man who said "Dragons! Whats next... Some sort of 'blight' of undead roaming across the land?"

A new in-game book I read (can't remember which) mentions a ruler fighting off an army or something with his sword Eltonbrand. I have to find it again now, this is bothering me. Or just search through the Construction Set when it's released.

So spoilers, but in case anyone hasn't finished Shivering Isles...Sheogorath is also the player character from Oblivion (just known as the Hero, I believe). He takes the mantle of Sheogorath, and apparently eventually his appearance, at the end of the expansion.
