Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves (on Apple 2).

That game was so much fun back then, but nowadays I just think it's horribly random and arbitrary, the main quest is stupid, and wtf are elves/dwarves/halflings doing in an Ali Baba game?

Hoo boy... Let's see How many Toes I can step on.

Battletoads. I was told this game was hard and I should play it because of that. I did and had a fun time with it back then. Nowadays, not so much. It was not fondly remembered because it was hard. It is fondly remembered because it was 1 of the only 2 games your parents bought you that year and you had no real choice but to play it to the end. I played the arcade version and found it easier to play and best.

Fallout 1 and 2. Enjoyed it a lot then. It's not fun to play through a screen and die just because Rats looked at your funny. Both games were made by people that did not know what they were doing when they made it.

FFVII. Loved it as a teenager. Now not so much. I've come to realize that I hate all of the characters, even Sephiroth, the poster boy for nihilistic character in games since.

Driver. The first one. Seriously, try to play an original PS1 copy. Holy shit, it's ugly and slow.

Back in the day it was awesome.
I still like it better than any of the sequels.
San Francisco was pretty good, but unfortunately that's the entirety of my experience with the franchise.
Actually, that one I haven't played outside of the demo. It did seem like a vast improvement over the past entries in the series. In large part due to getting rid of the horrible on foot nonsense.
Honestly, the campaign is great, and the multiplayer is innovative and fun. It's a pity that nobody goes online.

Disclaimer: The game I'm about to mention is one of my favourites when considered as part of the series, and it's still nowhere near the level of awful as some others in this thread.
With that said, Kingdom Hearts 1.
For the simple reason that, compared to KH2 and BBS, it has not aged well at all.
The story is a bit childish, though it's still better than some modern game stories, and has great, emotional moments. The combat is, as to be expected, not as tight as it should be, and not very deep.
On the other hand, KH2 is still as awesome today as it was 6 years ago.

Dynasty Warriors 3. When I got it, it was pretty much the only thing I played for months. I'd never seen anything like the scale that the game played on then, and used to love feeling like I was part of these huge battles.
Now? The render distance is awful (literally 5 meters), the graphics are pretty poor, the gameplay is repetitive, the AI is awful, and the enemy soldiers do literally nothing. I mean, they just stand around like they're in a final fantasy game, and attack maybe once every 20 seconds. The officers are a little better, but they never seek out battles, instead just standing around a mile from the front line, telling you not to get left behind.
