That's just hilarious... these propaganda people have no idea.
And that's back in '84...
Sorry, I was meaning both D&D propaganda and these idiots.
That there's Jack Chick. He's still going. Apparently Islam worships a moon god and the Catholic church is satanic.
It's all great hilarity.

SERIOUS MODE.

People are going to kill each other no matter what; there's some messed up children out there. Yet parents are so proud of their military involved offspring? The dividing line blurs once more.

C'mon aren't we missing the point of these photo shops?
That kid got 5,000 in one day! WITH NO MOUSE WHEEL!
If that's in TF2, CS:S or a HALO game that's pretty damned impressive.
And that kid who just got head shot, with the hand control of a "remote" control car! I mean the most I could ever do was break the keyboard and dent the monitor, but he managed to pwn using a car on his computer!!!

And then there's those marines! Dang they take great care of their skin. Even that British guy executing a soldier!

Alright back to some form of sanity, Ads like these really aren't very effective with such ludicrous images, plus I'm pretty sure that soldiers are against being lumped together with mass-murdering teenagers. I'm also pointing out that this campaign failed when the sponsoring organisation could not even afford to keep its domain.

EDIT:

C'mon its more puzzling that a cleric with 8th level spells can't do a basic raise dead! And why the fuck is that cleric casting arcane magic? Is she multi-classing or something?

What about the "My light spell blinds the monster"?
I thought it was:
Wizard: "I cast a light spell on the monster's eyes"
*DM rolls dice*
DM: "The monster is blinded"

PS I missed the part with the cleric casting an arcane spell. Where was it?

First tract image, I'm 99% sure its the cleric she calls wizard. Unless she traded her levels in, but thats kind of sensible with so many players needing heal spells due to the DM's bitchiness.

EDIT: Further acquring more geekiness points, the spell mindbondage sounds like a psionics ability, which means our friend Debbie is playing a triple multi-classer!

EDIT II (Below post): I normally don't play clerics, or Arcane users. Plus this is using light as a blinding debuff, which I'm sure was an Arcane spell in 2nd Advanced D&D.

Oh, that. Light's both a cleric and a wizard spell, don'cha know

Oh, and in response to your edit, this was written way before third edition. In the old versions, psionics was an innate ability everybody had a chance of possessing, regardless of class. Psionicist wasn't a class, you rolled for psionics at character creation and you could be absolutely any class and a psionicist.

Other edit: Nope. The cleric spell "light" was in every way identical to the wizard spell "light", apart from level and source. And maybe duration, range and components. But in effect, the entry flat out stated that it was otherwise identical.

Moar edit: I've checked my rulebook, the cleric and wizard light spells are nearly identical, except that the cleric spell has longer range, duration and casting time. The entry didn't state that they were identical, it merely had identical text. Oh, and the wizard one has a material component while the cleric one has a somatic. Both have a verbal.

Nope there are people who honestly thought those images weren't hyperbole and succinctly covered their point.

Honestly You would think people like this would have better things to do then this. Like it's simple i'm not against protesting i just don't like it when it's in complete bad taste, like the military story above (my sorrows to you) if you are going to protest

A) Don't be a Dick about it your only hurting your cause

B) Bring evidence because so far i haven't seen any creditable evidence yet

C) Again censorship and rating systems are there to guide your judgment not decide for you examine the game and then decide whether it's good or not. When i was still under M age (16 or younger in Canada)my parents examined the game if they weren't sure we rented it and tried it so far the system worked i am not a serial killer (yet, i'm looking at you generic video game protesters jk jk)

Back on topic though, who decided that video games were the cause. An example a 7 year old at my school, who watches South Park and other generic ADULT comedies, starts each day by telling his parents to F**k off. Now i don't know about you but i haven't found a game that you can do that in yet; nor have i seen one where you can walk into a school open fire then shoot yourself, maybe i will take these "ads" seriously when that day comes until then again all it is are people with no lives who have either sheltered their kids for too long or didn't shelter them enough.

No, you're not, that's exactly the reaction they were going for.

It's crap like this that gets me pissed off. The people supporting this kind of propaganda are the same types who would blindly allow their kid to go out and purchase GTA IV.

I used to work at Blockbuster's, and I was always the type to warn parents about the games they are renting for their kids. I remember one specific case where a mother and her kid came up to the counter and put the GTA3 box onto my counter. The little guy must have been 12, even less. I told the parent "This game is rated M. Are you sure you want to rent such a violent video game for your child?" I swear she pulled a hissy fit. Going on about how I shouldn't tell her how to raise her child. The best part about it all was one of our better customers told the woman off and took my side. She storms out in a rage, but at least I did my job.

Honestly a lot of parents today are too far into the "Don't tell me how to raise my child" mindset. The same thing happens in schools where the kid could be disruptive to the classroom, and when the teacher tells the parent that their kid has been misbehaving, they pull the same exact "Don't tell me how to raise my kid." card. I find this to be the most ironic case. My sister is a teacher, and when I asked what her courses were about, most of them were about how to deal with kids, how to raise kids too. These teachers took courses on how to raise kids.

This is all about ignorance, and the refusal to accept the fact that it's not the game developer's responsibility to stop kids from playing these violent games. It has been said in this thread before that it's just easier to blame someone else.

"Bah, this is preposterous! Kids! Want to help me kill some anti-gaming folk?"
"Aww, dad, can we play WoW instead?"

i call bs. i know people my age & younger that play really violent games like painkiller, ninja gaiden and gta and they're pretty normal. really games are good for people. it teaches them arithmetics, pattern recognition, reflex testing, and more. it just isn't good for the crazies and stupids. creating this kind of propaganda is stupid. the industry has already taken the precautions to educate parents so i don't see why propaganda like this exists. does anyone think this sounds like
Citizens United Negating Technology For Life And Peoples Safety (cuntflaps in initials) from the gta games?
