Anticipated titles in 2009 (and things you don't want to see)

Portal 2,Tekken 6, SW battlefront 3, bioshock 2/the prequel that's been rumoured & maybe something along the lines of either armed and dangerous 2 (that game was pure liquid british AWESOME) or stubbs the zombie 2.

But I heard the development time will be longer than the first two parts so next year is unlikely

Portal was a great game so hopefully Valve doesn?t ruin it with their sequel. But then again this is Valve, so it should be as good ... I hope.

Funny I was just thinking about that game yesterday, it was so full of win it should have been illegal.

Some how I think Valve have missed the point with episodic gaming, as in short cheap games with short production times and low price tags. At least they have got the game length bit sorted.

Star Craft 2 is the only one I can think of that I am looking forward to next year. I can't think of many 09 titles coming out bar the ones that have been mentioned. Honestly I still haven't bought all the cool 08 games I'm wanting yetm so I'm trying not to think about 09 right now.

I don't know if it comes out in 2009, but it's somewhere in the future.

Street Fighter IV, maybe Champions Online, and not much else. Nothing's really grabbed my attention.

I'll call your bet, and say I'm looking forward to Men of War, the RTS.

I do not want to see another Gears of War.

Looking forward to Star Wars Battlefront 3 and Timesplitters 4 (if they both come out in 2009, that is).
I'm not looking forward to the new Street Fighter (because the series is past its best) and MK vs DC; I think that game will surely be the death of Midway.

Empire: Total War and Saints Row 2, 's all really. I don't pay much attention to game release dates otherwise. I learned from my mistakes when I decided to pay attention to Stalker when it was announced.

Final Fantasy 13 if they can get it into English in time for 2009. Halo 3:Recon and Halo Wars of course but to be honest the game I'm most looking forward to is Resistance:Retribution.

Ok, need to repost. My comment about the PS3 needing a title to stand alone as a great console...well, having enjoyed MGS4 as much as did, and having just played the mirrors edge demo over more times than I would care to admit, I think we don't really have to wait any longer than 13th october this year

I heard Tiberium was cancelled, but then an article from EA said it wasn't. I think it's going to come out in 2009 but it hasn't been confirmed.
