This is a long one so get comfy.

I am 15, I was born and raised in Brooklyn NY. I moved to North Georgia when I was 13. Everyone here is very arrogant and rude because of where I am from. I am constanly bullied about my Home State or my size. I am 6'2 and 135 pounds (Marfans Syndrome.) And I am tired of havig no life. I was popular in Brooklyn, and I miss it everyday. I resent my mother for ruining my life and stealing my childhood. I don't know what to do. 5 months after I moved here I tried to take 13 Prozac and kill myself. I got a week in the crazy hospital and evryone in school found out. I was bullied by people who refer to themselves as "Christians" and the hypocrisy makes me sick. I had no problem with the South until I moved here. I see a lot more ignorance that acceptance. I can honestly say for the rest of my life I will personally hold a grudge against any Southerner that I meet for what they've done to me. My dad still lives in Brooklyn and hates me. I don't know what to do. Please help me. I don't want my youth to waste away before my very eyes.

Like what Vault asked: Why are they bullying you? I can't imagine any logical reason why someone would pick on you about where you're from.

Also, and this is coming from a conservative christian, anyone who bullies someone elsee for whatever reason deserves a crowbar to the face... for whatever that's worth...

Edit: So it's pretty much just a prejudice thing. Are we talking physical bullying, or verbal bullying (not trying to sound like a therapist here...)

From the sounds of it, some might find it hard to physically intimidate you, so I'm leaning more towards the verbal part. If all they can do is throw petty insults at you regarding where you come from, I would suggest laugh and shrug it off.

How exactly are the bullying you? If it's name calling and what not I'm afraid all I can say is try to ignore it. Anything above that and go to the Police/Teachers/Principals/etc, I'm pretty sure bullying is illegal and they will most likely do something. If that isn't a possible option then you can always resort to good old fashined violence. If there is one thing I've learned in life it's that people aren't very talkative when you've knocked most of their teeth out.

Hehe... Sorry. As someone who 5.5, 113 pounds... and almost 20 years old, my first thought was that you were more on the larger side

But still, that sucks. These situations are always tricky. I could try giving them an ultimatum, seeing as you already do get beat up. If they continue, you will "snitch". Obviously, if they beat you up for doing it, they're afraid of you telling someone.

I don't know. I was homeschooled and the most I had to put up with was some (at times extreme) sibling rivalry.

No. It's more bad than good. The other day people walked up to me in the hall and started calling me slenderman to my face repeatedly. I hate telling people about my Marfans but, it's really hard to not want to when things like that happen.

Go to the Police. If they're assaulting you then they will get in serious trouble. Worst case scenario the Police just gives them a warning, and then what will they do? They can't go any further now that there are legal ramifications (Achievement unlocked: Use big word). Best case sencario depending on their age the law lays the smack down on them and they're stuck with a criminal record. The whole "snitches get stitches" thing is bullshit Once they see their friends get in shit with the Cops most of them will back down.

I got bullied for various reasons most of my life.

Even now I get crap by retards because I'm an atheist in a town with more churches then fast food joins.

All you can do is man up and make the best of your situation.
If they get violent, call the cops or tell someone in charge.

Bullies are like facebook, report, ignore and move on. Every time you are bullied, take a note and report. If this report is ignored by your teachers, make a note of that. The last thing that your school needs is a lawsuit so if you start writing things down, they get taken seriously. 15 is far to young to give up on yourself just because of a few morons.

Work hard, get your grades up, go to a top university and study something you love.

The Marfins syndrome must make your body look elvish/vulcan. The right kind of University and a set of pointy ears, then the ladies (or gentlemen if you go that way) will be ALL over you

You said you have a hard time telling people about your Marfans. Honestly, this is probably the best step to take. It might make the guys feel bad about hurting someone with a legitimate, scientific disorder. And it also would probably help if you made it explicitly clear that their bullying doesn't bother you, even if it really does.

Also, don't blanket-hate everyone from the south. Ya there are some ignorant assholes down here, but there are ignorant assholes everywhere (including New York). I'm from the south and would never dream of bullying anybody.
