I've only played the GBA version of Phantasia, and Eternia on the PSP. Every other game has either been on a system I don't own or just not released outside of Japan, the games for the portable consoles being a prime criminal for that one.

That said, I did really enjoy the ones I have played, and Symphonia is supposed to be really good.

I've only played one of them (Vesperia), and it's a fantastic game. Really looking forward to Graces and Xillia.

Have always wanted to give Symphonia a try, but I never had a Gamecube, nobody I knew had a Gamecube either. Bah.

I love the Tales series. I consider Abyss to be the best of the series and Luke fon Fabre as one of the best protagonists in gaming.

I's excited for Tales of Graces F but I still wish they'd bring over the PS3 version of Vesperia.

I'm currently playing through Symphonia, not that far through. But I don't see what all the fuss is about. It's a fun game, just not LEGENDARY!

Played Phantasia, Symphonia, and Radiant Mythology, and frankly... I thought they were all crap. I usually don't mind cliché, but I can only take so much of it. All the characters have cookie-cutter personalities. The art style and character designs are ones I've seen a billion times before. The combat is bland and uninteresting. Voice acting, oh god, voice acting. And damn, are these games ever hyped for no reason.

Really, they aren't much better than a game made by a twelve year old with RPG Maker.

Beaten Symphonia somewhere in the neighborhood of ten times. Easily one of my all time favorite games, along side S3&K and Majora's Mask. If you don't like it, then you deserve to have your arm hairs plucked for not having the patience to weather the initial cliche storm all Tales games have.
[sub]I love you. I've done the same with Symphonia (it's the only one I have access to, damn you lack of consoles and money for other ones), and the other games in my top three are S3&K and Majora's Mask.[/sub]

I've played Symphonia a LOT (still haven't sat down and blitzed it eight times while keeping the titles to get 100% completion, because fuck that, really, even for a completionist like me), and I've been trying to get my hands on other games in the series. Apparently Tales of the Abyss is brilliant, but alas, no PS2.

Symphonia 2 seems mediocre to me, though, after trying to play it for a bit at a friend's house.

I hate the Tales games. Really. Ignore the avatar. It doesn't count. (End sarcasm here...)

Anyways. As you can tell, I'm a bit of a Tales series fan. I've played Symphonia, Abyss, and Vesperia. And I adore all of 'em. I've been meaning to play Legendia, but haven't quite found the time. Abyss had my second-favorite cast of characters, but it was, by far, the weakest storyline of the three I've played... but I still enjoyed it far too much.

Symphonia had my favorite story and characters overall but Vesperia had my favorite combat system.

Vesperia's cast is still very good and maybe I'm letting my nostalgia factor weigh too heavily in my preference for Symphonia but... meh. Sheena is my favorite female character in any game ever.
You pretty much have my exact opinion on the games. Especially Sheena- there's a reason I'm planning on cosplaying her. ^.^

Yeah, the Tales series is pretty good. In fact, I beat Vesperia just the other day.

I love the Tales of Symphonia series. The first one was way better than Dawn of the New World but I also enjoyed that one.

Ive never played one. Ive seen the Tales of The Abyss anime, and wanted to play one, but I ran into some difficulty

First I thought id play Tales Of Symphonia 2, but I wanted to play the first one first. I had no luck finding a copy in Pal format.

Then I couldnt find any of the PS2 Tales games. So no luck there

Then I heard Tales of Vesperia was coming out on PS3 with twice as much content. Which was great until I discovered it was Japan only. Bastards.

So right now im waiting for Tales Of Graces F

The only one I've played was Phantasia, and that was on an emulator.

I might of played another one if there were more releases in Australia.

Tales of Symphonia is still my favorite game.

Tales 2 was alright. It has nothing on the first.

Though those are honestly the only Tales games I've ever played. I'm usually strictly against JRPGs, but for some reason, I gave Symphonia a try and adored it. I want to play the other Tales games, but I always forget to.

I played the demo for Vesperia. I keep telling myself I'm going to get it when I can find it for about $15 to $20.

Wait you actaully played Symphonia 2..? shouldn't you like burn it? No offense but I heard it was extreamly bad, compared to the first.
Symphonia 2 was good, but not great. Having to live up to Symphonia 1 was just an impossible task. But on its own, it was a decent game.

Though I hated Emile for most of the game. HATED him. Richter was badass though.

I'm a fan too. I've played everyone except Radiant Mythology on the PSP. I love the Tales series, always has been an amazing JRPG and I don't think that will change anytime soon.
