No, but I do have perfect pitch and eidetic memory.

The first one, perfect pitch, means I can "recognize the pitch of any tone that I hear without a reference".

The second one, eidetic memory, means that I think and remember everything in images and sounds. That is to say, I "see" it happening in my head.

No, although I wish I did. My favorite musician (Aphex Twin) is synesthetic, he even wrote an album about it.

I've heard of that, it's like your senses get crosswired and messed up (which also has a negative connotation, sorry about that.)

I personally think it's cool, wish I could see things as things.

I only have lame personality quirks, like my preference for multiples of 5. Whenever I lower or raise the volume on my TV it's always done in levels of 5, right now it's at 30.

Oh and when I think about stuff I need to move around and sometimes voice or even act out what I'm thinking of, helps solidify the thought. And the thoughts are usually about various filming related projects I want to do, fairly helpful in that regard.

I'm also very obsessive when it comes to my games, especially those with character customization. EVERYTHING MUST BE PERFECT. If there's one small detail I dislike about a character, I start over, regardless of how many hours I've already sunken into that playthrough.
Makes completing lengthy RPGs a bit of a pain.

That's about it, nothing quite as cool as Synesthesia though.

Im red-green colourblind (which funnily enough covers wayyyy more colours) so if i were synesthetic it would be a bit of a disapointment.

I hadn't even heard of it until i saw someone in Heroes with it.. and even then i didnt realised it wasn't a super power until i saw a documentary about it a while after.

But it seems like a pretty cool thing to have but i imagine could also be annoying at times.

There's really only one prolonged synesthesiac thought I've had, and even that's fallen by the wayside.

*deep breath*

The second version of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles theme song (I wanna say well past 1993) would instantly get me to smell the low-budget french fries from a snack bar built into a Kmart. Even just playing it in my head long enough would cause an actual scent to "appear".

Aside from that oddly specific trigger, nothing even remotely similar has appeared in my experiences.

/end OT discussion.

Other than that, pretty basic head-wrongings. Light dyslexia switching the answers around on multiple choice exams, talking to myself to the point where others think I'm schizophrenic, and a selectively photographic memory. Can't remember my passwords for the various logins at work, but I can recall in full detail various movies, tv shows, stand-up routines, and IM-based roleplays. While the recall can be triggered by even the most tangential of incidents, I've been able to keep from explaining into detail just why X triggered Y to anyone within earshot.

...Lately.

Have you ever recorded what you see? A journal of some kind?
I have never really done this mainly because describing exactly what I see is pretty difficult and it get's frustrating haha. It's hard to explain how a letter "feels" like a certain color, or how certain songs appear in neon colors, while others appear in earthy colors. It get's really difficult to describe how exactly the days of the week have personalities without sounding insane haha

I wondered if I had synaesthesia when I was younger because I do some things like these. I remember when I was little I was talking about being able to smell colours, and my step-granddad told me to close my eyes and put something under my nose, I said it smelled brown and he said Ha! I was wrong! It's blue! But that's not what I'd meant at all. And numbers are definitely colours, two and four being the brightest as yellow and green, respectively.

But reading up on synaesthesia, I think that what I have is more of a memory-connection thing. I don't get the connection as big and bright and inseparable as synesthetes seem to, I probably just saw some number illustrations on a class wall when I was an infant where two was coloured yellow and three was coloured orange and so on.

I've also had this thing where if, for example, I brushed my shoulder against something, I had to brush my opposite shoulder in the same spot
I do that! Literally just now as I was eating my cereal, a piece of dry bran scraped the right side of my top lip, so I had to scrape the left of my top lip with my teeth. And the bran scrape throbbed for longer so I had to keep teeth-scraping the left side for it to keep up.

I think that's a form of OCD (which runs in my dad's side of my family), I also had problems with cracks in the pavement into teenagerhood although I assumed that was due to superstitions (didn't want to break my mother's back).

That just sounds awesome. Wish I had something like that, it would make the world that much... I don't know how to put it.

IDK if I have any disorders. Maybe OCD, but IDK. I also have a constant need to be doing something, unless I'm tired or sleeping. If I'm sitting down, I won't stop fidgeting, and if I do I get more and more uncomfortable. Not sure if that's anything, but eh. Certainly not as awesome as being able to see and smell and all awesome stuff with sound and such.

I don't see colours in letters and numbers, but I can smell migraine.
Certain odors and foods give me migraines due to their chemical make-up.
Like red wine, vanilla, cheese and rare meats.
I can sort of pick out what gives me migraines by smelling it.
Also by tasting it, but not as clearly.
Scents that otherwise are pleasant just smells like migraine to me.
Like vanilla candles.
Smells nice, but keep that shit away from me, it feels unpleasant.
Actually, most scented candles does that to me, but vanilla candles have like twice the effect.
I consider this 'ability' a boon, and I'd rather avoid shit that gives me migraines.

I've always associated different colours for different days of the week and letters, though I never thought it had anything to do with synesthesia.
Monday: Red
Tuesday: Blue
Wednesday: Yellow
Thursday: Green
Friday: Brown
Saturday: White
Sunday: Black

I'm ambidextrous. Almost anything I can do with my right hand, I can also do with my left.

When I was in kindergarten I would write one line on a page from right to left with one hand. I would then write the next line from left to right with my left hand. They gave me all kinds of tests because they though I had some kind of strange mental condition.

After they ran a whole battery of tests on me, (Without actually telling me WHY I was taking all these weird tests.) my parents finally just asked me why I did it. My answer? "Because I can, and it drives my teachers crazy."

I guess I've always been a bit of a smart-ass.

Damn, that actually sounds amazing.

Umm, strange conditions that I have... I guess when I was younger I used to guess before hand when I was going to get sick without actually feeling any symptoms. But that didn't really follow me later through life. In fact, I can only think of it happening once.

Probably was a dream.

I hurt my arse yesterday.

Slipped and landed right on the edge of the stairs, straight onto my coccyx.

'Tis quite painful.

Does that make me interesting? I hope it does, I do so crave attention.

I think someone here needs a time out.

Seriously, lighten up. If you think he's full of it, congratulations. You've formed a theory that no one really cares about. But it's pretty hard to get a confession out of someone you will never see or hear from in real life.
