Sorry for interrupting you here, but the default is "Rockin". Psi Rockin is the strongest attack in the game... Well, next to Pray of course.

I love to make fun out of the naming system sometimes, especially after a second play-through on games like pokemon.

Since I'm terribly boring, I never use funny names on my characters, I name them pretty much the same, based on what their approach is (since I usually play fantasy RPG's as games where you can name your character, it tends to go within the 'warrior', 'rogue' and 'mage' characteristic)

I guess it's because I feel retarded beyond measure when using a completely unserious name. In the same sense that whenever I play an MMO, and see someone named, for instance: "Iwillpwnu" or "jsk" or "fukuiwin", I want to locate the player in question and punch him senseless for not trying. In Warhammer Online, my Knight of the Blazing Sun is named "Fraeir Angevin", while my Witch Hunter is named "Reikhart Gottweiss"

I dunno, I like names that makes it at least seem like I tried to bother..

In Twilight Princess I named the horse My bum, just to see the person at the beginning say "I washed My bum for you".

on occasion i use silly names for fun mostly i like to test myself and think up original serious names

the comic "Super Effective" made fun of the naming system in pokemon many times, most notably when prof.Oak asks talks about he grandson and asks "Now what was his name again" as his (not yet named) grandson stands behind him with tears in his eyes saying "it's me gramps" after the name is entered prof oak screams "now I remember! his name is douche" as the main character gives a mischievous smile.

I personally named all of my pokemon similar curse words and named my character tried to name my character in WoW "Pinus" to get around to language filter.

oh my god, I remember in the gold version (I think) when the rival was listed as ??? and the police asked for the name I told them "???" because I thought that was his name.

Despite temptations, i've never done that. It seems too juvenile to me, and I prefer to keep things named as the authors originally intended, or to have a "realistic" name for characters that I personally design, such as in Fallout 3.
