ODST to Halo 3, Rock Band 2, Call of Duty 2, Civ IV, Far Cry 2, GRAW2, Gears 2, all great games.
How could you say Gears 2?
Because while the singleplayer was worse than the first, everything else was better. I've had a lot of fun with the mp, and Horde... man, Horde is just friggin awesome.
The MP is buggy as hell. Even with all these patches it's nothing compared to the first one

Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door
Mario's short lived pro-wrestling career was more awesome than it should have been.

Mass effect 2.

ME1 became extremely dull by comparison, playing it felt like a chore.

Assassin's Creed 2, Star Wars Battlefront 2, and Resistance 2 all come to mind.

I second that. Just rushing through the story missions was painful.

It isn't any worse than any CoD game, they only major problem is the matchmaking, which gives me some time to do other stuff, and it still is really fun.

bioshock 2. the game's combat got a much needed overhaul, the main character was in gauging, and the overall story was MUCH better. plus, i actually grew angry with Sofia lamb, where Ryan was just a man i was suppose to kill.
She was a smug, hypscritical, power hungry, underhanded, cruel, lying, arrogent, self-righteous, selfish *****. She enjoyed shooting her mouth off at you when she could, preached a mixture of bullshit, propoganda and lies, tried to usurp rapture because she as a socialist disagreed with the majorities views and would rather ruin everything for everyone than lose. Ryan in contrast had a few screws loose, but he had a vision of his utopia, his philosopy is your entiteled to what you earn, yet he degenerated into the very dictators he was avoiding with his own propoganda and brainwashing to counteract Sophia Lamb's.

Mass Effect 2; it perfected the gunplay, got rid of that annoying overheating system, it had better voice acting, it greatly expanded the Mass Effect Universe, the team mates were actually worth talking to, I didn't have to spend all that time in elevators, the graphics were nicer, I didn't spend so much time converting weapons to omni-gel, I don't have to carry around weapons I'm not trained for, the scope on the sniper rifle doesn't jump all over the place, the characters were complex, no mako, it has free dlc, the game is worth playing more than once just to hear the dialog for both paragons and renegade, Ashely is not on your team anymore, the planet mining was actually kind of fun, and the soundtrack was awesome.

That might be the be my longest sentence ever.

Diablo 2. Took you around the world to kick more demon ass, hhad a great story with good pacing, more classes (which were well balanced), a kickass multiplayer (8 person parties), more variety in monsters, varied enviroments and cool looking armor skins. A much better game, shame you old character was an idiot and didn't make a soul stone necklace (he would have lasted longer and may have made it to the anvil to destroy it).

Spyro 2 overall improved, Crash 2: The Hub felt streamlined and things felt more focused, Wild Arms 2: it tried some new things and for the most part they really worked though WA3 made those things even better, Sly 2: I really loved pulling off those large heists, and R&C: Going Commando:it added upgradeable guns and it's humor was probably better than the first one.

I didn't play the first one, but this one was pretty awesome, my favorite (REAL) rpg of all time, and im suprised at how few people said half life 2 or team fortress two.
