also, Im not looking for DOS open world games like TES Daggerfall. My processer is pentium III 1500 MHz. Intel Graphics card of course. I would prefer RPG-like games but suggest any type of open world game. The game size, cant exceed 1.8 GB and the game must come from the years 1999-2004, any higher and I dont think I can run it.

I already have,
Morrowind
GTA VC
Mafia
Spider-Man 2
Postal 2... its kinda open world, yes?
Black and White
Thief 2

Also, please do not suggest these games as I have tried them before(or cant run on my computer), and I dont like them,
Fallout series
GTA 3
Bully
Oblivion
Gothic (now before you say OMG HE DONT LIEK GOTHIC, I cant run gothic 2,3,4 and Gothic 1.... Well, I cant play with an inverted mouse, and the game doesnt freaking let me change it.)
Minecraft (Opengl crap)

yeah. nuff said.

Gothic 1 and 2, and possibly 3, not sure if you can run it. I don't like them, but they're open world.

I'm not sure if it's possible for me to achieve communication with some sort of creature that doesn't like Fallout or Bully, but...I'll give it a go. Could you possibly give some more information as to what you ARE looking for, besides just what you aren't?

Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines is a well-acclaimed open-world RPG, and quite definitely low-end. You're gonna want some of the community patches, though, 'cause it's about unplayable out of the box. Once past that though, the writing is brilliant and the atmosphere deep. Combat's kind of clunky but if you played Morrowind, then you probably won't have problems with this.

The Thief series may be worth looking into for you. Pretty cheap by this point, and one of the most heralded stealth games of all time.

Oblivion seems an obvious recommendation. It can be acquired very cheaply now, and is as open-world as they come.

You've surely had Deus Ex recommended to you, right? How do you feel about that one?

If you count Knights Of The Old Republic, that can be had very cheaply on Steam at this point.

That's all I've got for now.

Well I don't really know anything about PC specs but if you are in to racing games then Need for Speed Underground 2 is a brilliant open world experience. Most Wanted and Carbon that came after are also really good. Well, maybe not so much Carbon, but I still got some fun out of it. I don't know if either of those are considered "low spec" but if you enjoy one of those games you will probably enjoy all three.

Hm... You've got pretty much everything I thought of already.

The only other thing I could really recommend is Dwarf Fortress, but it's very different from all the other games you have. In fact... it's very different from almost any other game that exists, so there's no guarantee you'll like it.

Still, it's free, so there's no harm in trying. [link]http://www.bay12games.com/dwarves/[/link]

Gothic 3 is one of the difficult games to run. Even on modern and up-to-date PCs it's still choppy as hell.

I don't know if Ultima VII is open world (it's definitely more open than Vice City), but it's definitely good.

World of Warcraft?

It's perfectly possible to approach WoW as a free roam open world game up to the endgame, and you can't beat MMOs for expansive open worlds. Not sure about the specs, but WoW is famously low requirement.

Minecraft?

You really need to upgrade, you could easily get a computer that could play Oblivion.

Planescape: Torment
Baldur's Gate 1 and 2
Icewind Dale 1 and 2

Baldur's Gate 2 being the most open world. Even though none of the games are as open as Morrowind.

I'd hardly consider Vampire: The Masquerade or Planescape: Torment to be open world. You are pretty much railroaded through the game in both, with the only non-linear options being talking to non-plot important NPCs and not heading straight for your next objective. Vampire, in particular, is basically an FPS/TPS game with a dialogue and inventory system.

Have you considered:
Black and White (sort of open world)
or Deus EX the conspiracy- massively recommend. IMO best game ever made.

Gothic 1 and 2.

Just ignore the third one. For the love of all that is holy, ignore it. Pretend it does not exist.
The third one isn't that bad. Also for the fact that the community patches have fixed almost all the bugs.

Daggerfall, though that might be a bit TO low end
Mount and blade might be playable on that system, though avoid with fire and sword. Way to buggy.

It seems really silly to arbitrarily ignore all Dos games, since that's what most of the open world games that your hardware can handle run on.

Yeah, Deus EX ("The Conspiracy" is the name of the PS2 port, so don't buy that for your PC ha ha) is the best game I've ever played, but it's not remotely open world. It does have big levels though, so it might be worth a shot.

while they're absolutely great games...I sincerely doubt they'd be playable on a PentiumIII.
