I swear, you post on all my topics.CokeColaForTheWIn said:/this. Sony have done nothing to relive their classics on the psp. Why did you get te go anyway? 3000 is much better. Spyro isn't even fucking on thereDok Zombie said:HOGS OF WAR!
This thread is increasing my anger with Sony with regards to the utter uselessness of the PSP Go. I was so excited to get one, a portable PS1 with the ability to download all those games I traded in years ago and miss playing, brilliant! Here Sony, take my money, you've earned it!
Alas, the selection of PS1 originals on the European store is laughable and the Media Go software you need if you haven't got a PS3 won't run on a Mac.
What a fucking let down.
Thank you! Finally someone said that. Sure it may be a JRPG, but it's one of the greatest games for the PS1 around.gim73 said:Suikoden 2

Pah! Emulators Suck true hardware rules!ragestreet said:No ps1 game is expensive with the power of EMULATORS!.Daymo said:Any of the spyros. The first one is a bit expensive now, but the other two are still cheap.
Funny. Does anyone else think of a superhero with the power to copy anything when you hear the word emulator yelled like that?
I wanted to say Legends of Dragoon so bad but he said no jrpgs which is a travesty. My brother stole it from me and sold it years ago, sigh... Final fantasy 7,8,9, chrono trigger. The list goes on and on. Sometimes I look back at my PS2 and wonder if the advancement of graphics to the level they are today have ruined gaming somewhat.Delock said:Thank you! Here's a little bit about it: you get dragon armor complete with wings, it's more of an Arthurian sort of setting which slowly adds in more magic rather than a mystical world from the offset, there is a notable lack of agnst, combat is a huge step above most others, even though it is turn based (it's called additions, and it is one of the best improvements to the turned based combat in these games), the story is fun to follow, dragons are creatively designed rather than just the stereotypical version you normally see, and there are some great looking parts of the game despite being a PS1 game.
I'll also recommend Metal Gear Solid, though try not to foam at the mouth over some of the genetics in the game.
I can't remember the exact names but if you google "use ps3 controller on [pc, mac, whatever]" you should find everything you need.Father Time said:I was told hooking up the PS3 controller to a computer wouldn't work and that the programs that get it to work run the risk of damaging your computer. What programs do you use (I'm a PS3 owner)?ragestreet said:Since he's asking for ps1 games I'm assuming he either has a ps3 or a ps1. If it's the former then he can connect his controller to his computer for fun times. If it's the latter then he's just SOL unless he has a joystick in the shape of a modern controller.Father Time said:Yes but what good is an emulator when your computer doesn't have analog sticks?ragestreet said:No ps1 game is expensive with the power of EMULATORS!.Daymo said:Any of the spyros. Speaking of which Ape Escape was also a good PS1 game.
LOL. I'm such a dumbass. In my excitement I forgot to say. What the hell is wrong with me lol. It's Alundra, there is a sequel to it as well but the original is the best.the_tramp said:...what's the game?Liberaliter said:Ok, it's a JRPG BUT, it isn't turn based and doesn't have guys who look like 12 year old girls. Its more like Zelda, but better, with hard puzzles and cool 2d graphics, seriously, everyone should get this somehow.
Yes. That game is amazingly good.technoted said:Most of the PS1 games are amazing, Alundra sprang straight into my minds since I'm on my PS1 right this very second playing it.
I would recommend the original MGS and Silent Hill 1 if you haven't played them already. Unfortunately I haven't played any game on the PS1 apart from those 2, so I can only recommend those.pyrosaw said:I like everything except JRPG's.
editk, you can stop recommending resident evil 3
