I like everything except JRPG's.

edit:eek:k, you can stop recommending resident evil 3
I'd be surprised if you haven't played crash bandicoot. And I mean the first one. I also enjoyed CTR (Crash team racing) and Crash bash, two enjoyable spin-offs.

The first Spyro games were a lot of fun. You could try metal gear solid if you like the series.

OddWorld: Abe's Oddysee, fun puzzle game with good story, darkly comical with original creatures. Came out recently on PSN for £3.99
Most certainly this. Not much else to add.

If you can find them on ebay, though it may be a lil pricey given their popularity.but Breath of Fire 3&4, Legend of Mana and Xenogears.

Crash Bandicoot 1 - 3
Crash team racing
Spyro 1 - 3
Tomba
Ape Escape
Megaman Legends
Twisted Metal 3
Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee
Oddworld: Abe's Exoddus

The first 2 oddworld games are on steam these days, if you want to play them on PC or Mac.

Any of the spyros. The first one is a bit expensive now, but the other two are still cheap.
No ps1 game is expensive with the power of EMULATORS!.
Funny. Does anyone else think of a superhero with the power to copy anything when you hear the word emulator yelled like that?
The only problem with PS1 emulation is that the ISOs for game discs need to be put back together.
