Not from me. Compared to the first I think it's worse in about every single way, especially level design, atmosphere, style and lore.
The gameplay itself might've been more polished, but with everything else lacking I didn't enjoy the game nearly as much (I heard online apparently works better in DS2 as well, but I barely even tried it so I can't say much about that).

I dont like the idea that I might eventually run out of enemies to kill. That plus soul memory has kept me from getting far in the game. (Same feeling for effigies which also seem to be limited, unlike the easily farmable humanity)
Yeah, it kinda sucked in a number of ways. In DS1, from right the off, I felt I had absolute freedom with how to progress in the world, and it also acted as another subtle way to affect difficulty, ostensibly giving the player endless opportunities to adapt if they wanted to develop something about their stats or gear.
Lots of people, even those new to Dark Souls games have beaten it...but Im the type who is afraid to waste even one diamond in minecraft, cause I fear I will run out of them. Its just a level of stress that I dont have in Dark Souls 1 cause I know everything needed is replenishable.

And I hate the diminishing HP bar. Alot of the things I dont like about DS2 are really problems from Demon Souls that were initially fixed in DS1.
I hated that hp bar, too. The problem I had with DS2 was that it was harder on newbs but was way too easy once you got the hang of it. I died the the most times fighting the hollows outside the crestfallen bonfire, but once I got about halfway through and had a fully upgraded weapon (Drangleic Sword +5 is a beast! ) the game was a cakewalk.
In Dark Souls one I never felt like the game got easy. it always seemed like once I got a leg up the game would throw another seemingly impossible obstacle in my way that I would have to scrape by by the skin of my teeth

I did find jolly cooperation much more fun in the second one, though

DS2 is my favorite of the three. It has my favorite bosses, npcs, music, and graphics of the three. Also, it has twinblades.

DS3 is a huge disappointment to me. Poise not being a thing, most enemies having infinite stamina or at least enough to attack over 12 times consecutively and other questionable design choices just ruin it for me.

The npcs are boring apart from Siegward, and even then you barely interact with any of them if you DO manage to jump through all the random hoops required to advance their stories.

It has almost no story, even for a game in this series. I did like the weapon arts though, and the whip's new moveset.

I must have played DS2 easily 3 times more than the other 2 combined, mostly to get my no death NG ring. The DLCs are also quite good, but so was DS1's. Looking forward to DS3 DLC to see if the trend continues of delivering the best stuff there.

That being said Bloodborne is easily my favorite of them all. Though if the Threaded Cane was not in the game I'd probably not like it nearly as much.

I've played all the Souls games now besides Bloodborne, out of all of them I stand at a solid 110 hours into Dark Souls 2, almost at my NG+2 which is more time than I've spent combined into the other three that I've played. I do have to say that it is incredibly easier than the others besides Demons Souls which was even easier (I had flown through the game at roughly 16 hours). Dark Souls 3 being the hardest out of the others for it's much more fast paced in my humble opinion (Pontiff Sulyvahn is my nightmare currently at level 36). Have to say I have love for all Souls type games, including Nioh which looks brilliant to me though procured my Team Ninja. Lords of the Fallen however made me feel bored, it was okay, but generally awful.

I've found mages to be awful weak in most Souls games, love hauling around the Greatsword for most of my endeavors, the Strength builds for Dark Souls 2 are brilliant, especially in PVP when you pop a Mage off the side of the map. I just really liked Dark Souls 2, I cant get enough of it, I'm so very close to getting my Platinum, just have to wreck Darklurker and get to Drangelic Castle on NG+2 and I got it, then I never have to waste time on such a good game again. Also the game was originally meant to be darker, but then they shone light upon it which really took away from the atmosphere of a Souls game.

It was okay.
