No but Indigo Prophecy 2 is coming out really soon.
Link please or I shall have no choice but to claim bullshit.
Third post above you, if you looked.
Oh shit sorry man. I saw that post and all, I just didn't realise it was yours.
Bah no worries.
You already get infinite brownie points for noticing and apologizing.

From which trust me, is a lot more then other people would do on here. (.e. ***** at me, and then say I'm trolling when I said Heavy rain.)

Well it was my mistake to begin with. Therefore it was my place to apologise.

OT: Even though Heavy Rain is looking to be more "realistic" than Fahrenheit, I'd still be okay if super powers somehow popped up. It didn't bother me in Fahrenheit anyway.

Yeah, the game was great except for the whole super man twist at the end. Hopefully Heavy Rain won't disappoint like Fahrenheit

Yeah the Whole "Batshit Crazy Second Act".

I enjoyed it sorta. But it was epicly Jarring transitioning into it.
If Heavy Rain does do it, Hopefully it will be smoother.

The game had a really great start, and there was so much potential.

Then the last 3/4 of the story just started spiralling downwards. It was pretty much a "wtf-fest" compilation of some really crazy stuff. Superman powers from some random radioactive material, a cyborg that kind of randomly came out of nowhere and goes "I was hiding in your internetz lol!", etc.

It was...cheesy/funny, I guess. Ignoring that, the game overall was actually pretty good in the sense that it got me engaged and all. It was really intriguing and unique at times. Just remember though, that you have to be someone who is willing to get into a story. Lose concerns over gameplay, or else this game won't satisfy you at all.

I played Fahrenheit, and loved it. The contrast of playing as the killer, and hiding the evidence etc, and then playing as the detectives who uncover that evidence was very interesting. Story ended up a bit odd, but I still thoroughly enjoyed it.

And I will be getting Heavy Rain, the special edition is pre-ordered

I'm incredibly excited for Heavy Rain, and playing the demo ensured myself that it would be great.

I haven't played Fahrenheit/Indigo Prophecy, however. I've heard mixed feelings about it, though I'm more than sure that's going to be the case with Heavy Rain as well.

I played Farenheit ... Game started off kinda nice but then turned to all out crap. Didn't even play till the end.
This, a million times. The concept of the game and the way that you interacted with it (and consequently all of the differences) were very good. However when the super-mega-cult was introduced it just went downhill.

My main gripe other than the mega-cult was that you spent ages hiding all of the evidence and being sneaky as the protagonist, only to then play as the detectives to which I then felt obliged to undo all of my previous efforts to ensure that my morale stayed high. Decent idea for a game but slightly broken.

Will not be getting Heavy Rain as I do not have a PS3.

Ah, Fahrenheit...

I liked it right up until the... how to put it delicately... clusterfuck of plot twists. At that point I just wanted to get it over with.

I own and played Fahrenheit and it had it's moments. At first the intuitive QT... I mean controls were cool, if a bit novel. However a couple of hours in and the gameplay had pretty much shot it's load, but not the story... ohhh no. The story decided to make up for the repetetive gameplay and twist and turn until it was an absolute farce. I still don't know what happened in the end. And then there was the surprise necrophilia.
To me Heavy Rain looks like a prettier, less convoluted Fahrenheit. Which isn't enough to warrant me buying a PS3.
