As everyone else has said, yes, the game is fantastic, it's in my opinion one of the most perfect games ever made. And to those who say it's too short, I say that the game needs to be 2-4 hours, or have the "feel" of the game lost, plus it gives you a better chance of completing it with a single partner, giving you one of the most amazing experiences in online multiplayer I've ever had.

Buy it, I really doubt you'll regret it.

When I read the title I thought of something totally different.

Just a small town girl
Living in a lonely world

A great little game when you're looking to kill some time. As others have said, it wasn't quite the emotional rollercoaster for me, as people keep making it out as. And after I'd finished it once, I don't really have any desire to go through it again. Although, your character's garb changes and becomes more elaborate with each successive playthrough. Up to NG+3 or something like that, I dunno. I'd recommend waiting for the Collector's Edition that has Flower and Fl0w, as well.

I would just say play it. Susan put it best in her review. You can't accurately describe the experience to someone else. Just try it. It's amazing

Here's me, chiming in on the "yes, yes, a thousand times yes" side of the thread. I don't think I've ever had a gaming experience quite like this one, and I bet you haven't either. In fact, so far it's my personal front-runner for Best Game of 2012.

It's a game that you kinda have to meet halfway like Shadow of the Colossus. If you are able to do this and accept that the gameplay is not about skill and achievement, you should be able to enjoy it.

In my opinion Journey is a perfect game in what it tries to accomplish. It also has the best score of any game I've played in years.

Oh, god, that's some good ear porn right there.
I would like to add the ending song as well to the collection of ear-porn this game is bursting with.

It goes on and on and on and on...

Haven't played more than the demo but, there was a strange feeling to it. It wasn't a bad feeling just something I want to feel more of so I can understand it... but I will wait for the CE if nothing else so I can return it if I hate it.

Strangers, waiting,
up and down the boulevard.

I just started a thread about my experiences with Journey and I sound...reverent, to be honest. Didn't expect it to come out like that. It was a bit short, I plowed through it in six hours even though I was taking my sweet time. Though I do have to insist that the visuals are stunning no matter what you think of the game. Besides, the CA comes with Fl0w and Flower, too. That's a pretty sweet deal. Hope they're not gonna sell it for a triple A title price in Australia. The average game is $50-$100 here.

I thought it was pretty good. A lot of it was marred in symbolism and interpretation so I expect opinions to vary wildly. Still at the very least its worth a playthrough and if youre like me you'll probably play it through several times

I really enjoyed Journey but havent bothered to replay it yet that said I certainly havent regretted buying it at all its just a great experience I wouldnt call it much of a game though there is bugger all challenge and its extremely short that said its an extremely impressive piece of software I am glad I bought it as its exactly what I was hoping for when I first read about it.

As always though dont get your hopes to high just sit back and (hopefully) enjoy it.

I've only heard good things about this game. I usually never buy games off of PSN, nut this sounds like a must.

It was the weirdest thing.
I had been anticipating the game quite a bit, then when I finally got to play it, I wasn't really affected by it.

Not that I hated it, God no, nor did I feel let down or disappointed per se, it just didn't have near as much of an effect on me as I thought it would.

It's a highly emotion-centric game. The gameplay is simple, but certainly gameplay; there's no question about that. And it's more than beautiful enough to warrant a playthrough. I cannot stress this enough; you need to play Journey.
