I tend to listen to I Don't Want To Set The World On Fire whilst playing post-apocalypse games

It works so well!

[sub]That and Don't Stop Me Now, of course[/sub]
Then Megadeth starts blasting right?

OT: I talk to the game as if I was the main character.

Or in Oblivion's case, I pretend my character is talking back.

"How can you call me meat when I can easily kill you!?"

I don't think I have any really odd ones bar only reading the manual when I have a poo.
I would say were in the same seat but that would be odd.

i sit cross legged in my computer chair, even though im 6'2", and have long legs, and one leg always falls painfully asleep

i flip off people who kill me too many times

in some instances i have developed temporary turrets, leading to my friend laughing so hard, he couldnt breath and was crying... alot

when not sitting cross legged, i tend to rapidly tap one, or both feet to nothing

i used to reload after every couple of shots... battlfield 2142 stopped that pretty fast

ummm... when i was little, i used to lay on my stomach when i played. when it got intense, i would kick my feet. now that im older my legs just tense up alot

i used to get really sweaty hands when playing with a controller... not so much anymore

thats it i think

I get very crabby after gaming for a long period of time.

I have no idea why, and I realize that I am doing it but can't help it.

I seethe with anger whenever a "ninja" kills me in MW2. Apparently, I also swear blue streaks at the screen when the amount of melee-related deaths gets too high. Those ninja bastards!

Whenever I find an area with more than way to go I think "ok which way is the wrong way" and then deliberately go that way hoping I'll find treasure or something. If I end up going the right way I'll progress a fair bit then realize "shit I forgot to look for treasure" so I backtrack.
I do the exact same thing! I thought it was rare, but I guess it kinda makes sense. Don't wanna miss on any bonus treasure the game offers!

Also, when I game my hands sweat so much I usually cover the keyboard with a cloth (I'm on a laptop so I can't afford to get the keyboard too dirty). As consoles go, I only have a Wii, but I swear Nintendo made the controllers way too sensitive to sweat, especially the new black ones. You'd think they would've figured this out by now!

Lastly, during tense moments in games I open my mouth. Brain needs more ventilation I guess.

My hands sweat profusely.

Me too.

The MW2 controller is a life saver, with its pistol grip sides.

Get it even if you hate the game.

I get like that too, but usually only with online play. Especially a certain shooter...

My recommendation: Play Fallout 3 and relax!

OT:

Reload after every kill

Search every nook and cranny of every level

Stop and look around to soak up the atmosphere and visuals

I don't hate it, I just suck.

Badly.

Horribly, even. I have a .49 KDR.

Yea.

And I also search every nook and cranny, AND I soak up the visuals.

K:D doesn't matter, best not to even think about it. Just have fun! I suck at MW too.

He-he. Thanks. You made me feel less crap-ish. :D

On the bright side I do kick ass at spec ops. though.

Gaming is the only time I ever yell and many people say it's the only time they've ever seen me get really angry. I can't help it! But I'm not angry at myself or the game, I'm angry at the character I'm playing. Mario knew I wanted him to jump on the ledge... how dare he fall off..that loser haha
