Holy cow! That would be awesome...I never got into Metroid before Prime (I know , I was stupid---But it was the same thing with Legend of Zelda-Didn't play any until Ocarina of Time)

I know those games are good...And something like that would secure a look into the sidescrollers...

Radiata Stories or Terranigma.
Radiata needs the story fleshed out more, the side characters having skills as they level, and Co-op. Oh, and a 3rd actually good end.

Terranigma needs 3D, updated combat and a better translation. Everything else about it was fucking perfect.

Yeah, sidescrollers are a lost art that seem to be making a comeback in certain ways (Sonic Unleashed, Maramusa, etc.). I got into Metroid w/ Metroid II and have been a huge fan ever since. The Prime games weren't really my favorites and I only actually finished the first one, though.

I dont know if these count as "classic" but here they are. I want nintendo to remake Ocorina Of Time, i know they made master quest but i want a remake with twilight princess graphics and soundtrack, that and Majoras Mask with the same criteria

Those two games, while perhaps not the oldest, are still classics in my book and would love to see them get this treatment...A little expansion on the game as well (nothing to take away from the main experience though)...I don't know if I could deal with the Water Temple again, though...

Oh good god... I had forgotten about the nightmarish water temples in those games... But still i stand by my point, even if i do destry a controller or 2, i did this with the water temples

It looks rather good, but, as I don't have a PS3, I can't tell you what it is like myself. I've still got prototype to look forward to though.
