Anyone else getting "Go Upgrade" on youtube?

I thought my flash was up to date, but Youtube is telling me to Go Upgrade. However, when I click on that site from thier own link or googles, it takes forever to load the page, and it never opens any installer or anything, and my popup blocker isn't the cause. Is anyone else having this trouble?

I had to upgrade a while back, i did, and it worked fine afterwards. More than that, i can't say.

I was pretty sure I had the latest version, I guess not. However I can't get the stupid thing to even try to download on thier actual site. It just goes slower then dial up and then nothing. I'm gonna reboot and see if that does anything.

No problems here. Have you tried the usual things like restarting your computer?

Yep just did. Now the Adobe page is "temporarily under maintenance," so maybe thats why I can't get the download to start. Still, heck of a time to go on maintenence, why don't they take my personal feelings into account?

Edit: Apparently alot of people not using Firefox are having this problem. Oh well

Hmm, well Youtube has been giving me grief too. Occasionally it won't work on Firefox and I have to switch to Chrome.

Yeah, I'm having that exact problem. I gave up trying to download the upgrade just now.

EDIT: OK, it's tomorrow, I just logged into YouTube - and everything is working just fine! Weird...

No it seems to be happening to people that aren't running in Firefox, at least thats what a quick Google Search got me.

well I just went back and it's working now...so I guess I "upgraded" by waiting or something

I had the same problem but I found a way round it. Go to this page http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/191/tn_19166.html go down to the bottom of section 3 where it says if you are still having problems click here and use that link. Hope this helps anyone having problems.

I'm getting the same message, I switched from Opera to Chrome and it works that way. I'm still not happy about it though.
