Unless; did you want someone to write a crossover fanfiction with specific requirements of your tastes? It can't be that hard to write short stories, can it?

"Fanfiction" doesn't mean "short story".

Yes i recognize that, but I was thinking more about the stories that are relatively short. Citing Cupcakes, Rainbow Factory, and My Little Dashie.
I am sorry my comments implied the equivocation of fanfiction and short story. My original option was to write: "it can't be that hard to write terrible stories" but having little experience in that realm, I thought it best to avoid condescending comments.

I'm certainly not getting sick.

I started getting into the show AND the fandom a good while, and so far, I'm still loving it!

I sort looked past some of the stupider parts of the fandom, such as the whole Trollestia fad and how alot of people keep calling Scootaloo a chicken, and found myself having alot of fun with this fandom.

Eh better to just ignore it as best as you can. Only times I see Rule 34 of MLP is on the chans where I have no power over it and have to scroll over it every now and then.

I deal with it for the most part but I find the avatars to be the most annoying. Everybody and their mother has a MLP avatar buuuuuuut you get used to it I guess.

Funny, seems to me like the only people who keep bringing it up are the ones that complain about people bringing it up all the time.

The only time I ever see big MLP discussion in places it doesn't belong is when someone randomly complains about the fandom doing things it doesn't really often do. Seems counter productive.

I've never seen an annoying Brony on this cite. I've seen Pony avatars and an image macro here and there. There's more Nathan Fillion gifs than anything else.

At this point, I feel like bronies have their own areas to go to without hearing people piss and moan about them, and if you do see it, it's like seeing a building as you drive down the road that has a sign on it saying it's having a meeting for a group of Twilight (the book, not the pony) fans. Otherwise, my post was not meant to be taken literally, I didn't actually expect you to read a full novel from a fandom that you don't care about, nor to enjoy it if you did. (enjoyment of FO:E is pretty much limited to the kind of people who can take ponies in a dramatic setting seriously).

I understand what you mean though OP, when the film Avatar film came out I actually grew to hate it because of the hype even though I have never seen it. Just seeing one of those blue people makes me feel annoyed.

I find that offensive in every single possible Way. NOTHING, I repeat, NOTHING is as bad as the Sonic Fandom. Hell, as annoying as Bronies get they are still far better behaved then the Sonic Fandom (aka. They actually have the capacity to be fun sometimes rather then proposing to marry characters from said series...yes i have seen that happen) and also far less creepy.

The Sonic Fandom is, if you'll permit the incredibly inappropriate metaphor, alot like that dead hooker we keep in the basement: we aren't proud of it, we don't bring it up in conversation with others and we try our best to forget it exists as much as possible. The Sonic Fandom is more or less that for the rest of the internet.

Admittedly the rest of the statement is the same and some fandoms are definitely capable of being creepy no matter what the fandom is for but...Sonic Fandom is pretty much infamous for how Creepy it is so using it as an example is probably not the best idea.

OT: The Bronies can be annoying but i just kinda got used to them after a while, but i still sometimes have fun just teasing a bit and partaking in playful conflicts. Apart from that, they don't bother me and i don't have to bother them. Although one thing that bothers me is that no bronie seems to be willing to mix Susumu Hirasawa songs with their show, which is a shame cause the guy has done some damned good songs: Such as Aria, Forces, Sign and...actually, let's just say everything he's made and leave it there.
