Im not talking about do you like weird or abstract music that nobody but 3 people listen to. Im wondering if anyone listens to different kinds of music that most people wouldn't put together. I personally love metal/metalcore and also listen to country. Whenever I have my mp3 on its usually playing Protest the Hero or something of that sort but I still gotta get in my George Strait fixes!

So what weird music combination's do yall listen to?

I'll listen to classic rock music, then switch to songs by Stephen Lynch, and other comedic groups.

Electric Light Orchestra, Metallica, The Beatles, Weird Al Yankovic and System of a Down. Just a little selection there.

whatever all this random crap is on my mp3. I suppose it is a strange mix.
It helps me maintain a semblance of sanity, which is enough to operate in society.

I won't post my pandora's box of music again, but I listen to Spice girls and cannibal corpse. Kanye West and Tim McGraw. Daft Punk and Shania Twain.

Yeah, I'm very tolerant of music.

Some obscure classic rock from someone like Blue Cheer, then some classical with Gershwin, then some Brazilian folk with Caetano Veloso, mix in some Eastern sitar playing with Ravi Shankar, into the modern era with Placebo, and finishing with Vera Lynn. Just as an example of my day.

One minute I'm listening to Cast (90's rock), the next I'm listening to Hitoshi Sakimoto (videogame soundtracks).

I guess we all go through different emotional stages during the hour/day/week/month, and need (sometimes radically) different music to express them all.

I listen to lots of different stuff, but the strangest thing I heard AND liked to this day would have to be the album "Voyage 34" by Porcupine Tree, which is a recording based on one of the band's collective LSD trips.

I listen to this [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WoT1oRnSK88] which is usually followed by this. [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3q8n7us6Syg]

You'll agree, they seem a pretty weird combination.

I've gone from listening to Dragonforce, to Hikaru Utada, to Igor Stravinsky, all during the same car ride.

I listen to most metal and rock music, then have other random and totally unexpected things thrown in too.

Aesop Rock used to get on my nerves, but for some reason I find this one song incredibly compelling..
As well as this:
Oh..and McFly..I'm still not sure why I enjoy their stuff.

Dubstep? Not weird at all around these parts.
Listening to Rusko & Caspa now actually.

As for my taste, See for yourself [http://www.last.fm/user/D4zZ]

I like most things nowadays, used to hate dance music and all that stuff but went clubbing for a few years and the shits grown on me. DnB and Dubstep are my most recent additions of genres.

I love Ska and overly happy music as well, and anything with good guitar. Acoustic guitar is awesome and if anyone knows anything like Andy Mckee throw it my way.

Andy Mckee, at least watch 0:50 when it has built up
Rusko & Caspa (Dubstep)
Capdown, my ska example (3rd wave)

I like J-pop, that makes me weird here (here's [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n_Mggtgtiw0] some [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PhJOwVBCYms] examples [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RqIL78NEHAw] for [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P3g45pyw04s] you [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HVxq1NDrkYk]).

Other than that, I have a taste for alternate (They Might Be Giants and Barenaked Ladies) and prog rock (Journey is awesome, and I kinda like Kansas), but my tastes are more broad than weird.
