Very interested. I just home that the motion scanning thing doesn't end up being just a gimmick. I still pre-ordered it. I'm really keeping my fingers crossed it turns out great. I get the same vibe for this one like I got when I pre-ordered Batman: Arkham Asylum.

After the abysmal GTA 4 port would anyone even want another Rockstar game on the PC? I'll probably pick it up down the line every R* game has been fantastic and it looks to have no less less love put into it but my backlog of games is enormous.

I think they should sticked with the black & white filters, but otherwise I'm always up for a detective story.
I would love one of those myself. Unfortunately it is Console only and will probably be drastically over priced, just like most games.

Dude, I once bought a PS2 just for Devil May Cry 3. Never regretted it.
So you can take the money you were going to upgrade your PC with and buy a console of your preference.
Worked for me.

That still wouldn't get me a console for several years as my laptop will probably last me that long. I also cannot stand console controllers so will not be getting one. I did get a PS2 free a little while ago though. I might even play some games on it when I work out how to dismantle the controller and make it into a mouse and keyboard.

Controllers = fightings, action/hack'n'slash.
Keyboard+Mouse = BIG WRPGs, FPS, MMOs.
It's a matter of utility.

Both take time to get used to. I remember what it was like to first play Quake 3 on th PC and barely being able to move the mouse

I'm not trying to debate the merits of the control schemes, just saying that I won't be getting the game unless it is released on the PC. Even then only after a significant price drop.

Sure, no prob. They probably will port it if it's successful.

I always welcome new gamingconcepts and new developers making an intelligent product.

Wait... Rockstar Games? The guys from GTA??? Quite a 180 for them... I hope the intelligence and intricacy I thought I saw in the trailers will actually be there.
Have you played Red Dead Redemption? Rockstar is very good at making themed games, they nailed the western theme and now, altough Rockstar is not actually making the game, just helping, they will nail the detective theme.

Rockstar is helping Team Bondi the same way Epic helped People Can Fly with Bulletstorm, they will give the tools and resources and provide design opinions.

Rockstar is the king of gaming's equivalent of "summer blockbusters". They always seem to come out with something refreshing, interesting or grandiose when summer kicks off. Also, it's always a day or two next to my birthday. Red Dead Redemption, GTAs, etc.

Definitely interested. Looks like a show stopper with family and friends. I imagine I'll have family sitting around helping me read faces. Been a while since I've seen a decent cop drama or detective film, so this will probably be a quick hit for everyone this May.

People can say what they want about Rockstar with their GTA portfolio, but Rockstar is probably the defining pioneers of this generation, and they continue to innovate or simply go balls-to-the-wall with something else. They've managed to make original games, while pulling in a metric-ton of hate from neocons, do-gooders and skeptics.. then basically told them to go F themselves whilst making millions and pushing the envelope at the same time.
