No it means it was made easier, which every developer will admit they did, so the game can be picked up by every gamer/non-gamer alike.Ace of Spades said:Oh yes. So the games are easier, take less tactics and thinking when playing them, ergo the phrase "dumbed down", then people like to think they were called dumb and take up arms to battle in the mighty console wars!!
And for the DA1 vs DA2 comparison(PC version), in DA1 the battles were no joke you really needed to time your attacks and work out who stands where and use all of your party skills to survive, in DA2 demo I managed to play through the entire thing with a mage only(others waiting in a corner), due to the new system you can outrun all melee attacks thus taking away 80% of all danger, maybe the full game will work differently but the demo was extremely easy.
