Anyone Else Watch Sessler's Soapbox?

Adam Sessler fron the G4 does this weekly podcast where he talks about the big news in gaming or sometimes he just talks about random things. You can go to the G4 website to see them or do like I do and get them free from iTunes (that's not a plug btw). Anyway, there have been times I've questioned the credibility of X-Play, but that has to do with Morgan more than anything else. But Adam makes some very good points when he does his podcast. Like the one this week is his view on the whole L4D2 Boycott (which can be viewed here http://g4tv.com/thefeed/blog/post/696648/Sesslers-Soapbox-To-the-Left-4-Dead-2-Petitioners.html) And now I really respect this guy. Everything he says is completely his opinion but more times than not, it's right.

Anybody else watch his podcasts?

I did, just haven't kept up alot.
I watched his rant on Homophobes whilst on Xbox Live, and he makes alot of great points.

I kinda lost my faith in G4 along time ago.
But Sessler is still a man I can respect. He once took and read all the weird, angry mail from a Killzone 2 review, FROM PS3 FANS!! They were actually very funny.

Yes, his podcasts are shining beacons of hope in the desolate wastes that is G4.

I don't watch often, but I'll usually tune in to hear his thoughts on stuff like the L4D2 controversy. In the sea of crap that G4 has become, Sessler is the one man who strikes me as actually knowing what he's talking about. The last real gamer in town, if you will.

He's really hit the nail on the head about the L4D2 controversy, incidentally. Dead on.

The only purpose G4 has for me is the MMO Report, I watch that every friday to get the news on MMORPGS.

Only when I'm linked to them, but they tend to be good stuff. He is the one beacon of sanity left on G4. I really hope that he gets hired out of there, gets recruited by someone better. Maybe the Escapist?

EDIT: I laugh at this boycott. I think that I must review Left 4 Dead soon, if only to do a small rant on it.

I saw a video conference thingy he did with Jack Thompson a while ago, and to be honest he came across as a bit of an idiot. He just yelled and called names and made accusations--no legitimate points or counter-arguments. It didn't seem that he put any thought into what he was saying, he just reacted. It was a pretty huge dissapointment, because I felt that he reflected poorly on gamers in general.

I haven't heard anything recently though, I'll give this a try.

Yeah, I keep up with him. The only good thing left on G4.

I thought the same thing, but suffice it to say he was just really, really pissed. He's usually much more reasoned then that. In fact, here's [http://g4tv.com/thefeed/blog/post/689745/Sesslers-Soapbox-Jack-Thompson-Disbarred.html] him being much more rational on the same subject.

I generally agree with him, but he often whines as much as the whiners he whines about. I hate his voice... a lot. He also nearly always just sets up scarecrow arguments for all his points.

Yeah, I think Sessler's pretty much always got something interesting to say about any given gaming-related topic, whether I agree with him or not.

He tends to be very articulate and reasoned, which is sort of rare on the l33t-grounds of the Internet.
