I just rock.

School shows 3 years running, speaking roles all the time. Asked to act in a couple independent shows. Been on TV in world must big headed douche award (not really, news is fun to appear in) and as an extra in an episode of some ITV thing they filmed near me.

I started doing plays when I was in 9th Grade, when I shocked people with my singing voice. It truly caught people off guard, considering I was a Shy High Performing Autistic who would talk to himself while staring at walls.

Got to do a big musical at 10th grade where I got the lead male role, performed a duet with a senior girl and put everybody in tears.

To date, I did one more play my senior year, have sung at four graduations (at grades 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th) three local stage performances, 5 or 6 concerts and was nearly offered a role in a Stephen Ambrose (Band of Brothers) documentary about Lewis and Clark that never got made*.

* This one I have merely been told would have happened. My dad knew a guy who knew a guy who knew a guy who knew Stephen Ambrose and was going to make a documenary with Tom Hanks as Producer, and this guy my dad knew saw me singing on a home video and said, "We need that kid".

Never got made, I can assume.

Anyway, the offers for performances keep on coming, but don't expect to see my name anywhere anytime soon.

Not really. I had the main part in my play when I lived in wales, but ever since I came back to scotland my popularity has drooped, and thus my drive to act.

I think I would be good at it though, I'm very confident speaking in front of a group of people.

I know exactly what you mean... I always made fun of myself for being such an awful singer. But I was good with instruments, so I was always around music. I went and saw the play in the fall, and two of my friends somehow got me to audition, and I ended up with an extremely fun role (Nicely Nicely is pretty much the comic relief in the show). It truly is an exciting thing to get up and perform.

I've been on the stage dozens of times, although the only big part I ever got was Stanley in "A Streetcar Named Desire". I also appeared on TV once, although I was part of a massive crowd so I don't suppose that counts. I love theater and I still audition now and again when I need a break from everything else but for now I'm on hiatus.

Yeah I've been in a few shows. Jesus Christ Superstar, just as a dancer/extra type. and I tied ol' Jesus to the cross, and Twelfth Night as Sir Andrew Aguecheek. As well as a few smaller comedy type things, which i'm much better at really, this included a small skit I wrote myself which was actually awesome.

What can I say, I am a hilarious person. I miss that stuff, haven't done anything since I stopped doing drama, my talent and comic timing is wasted.

As part of a talent/charity thing at secondary school, a group of us did some political satire. I was the only person large enough to play a convincing Gordon Brown and pull off his trademark smile.

I also played "Mr. Badger" when my Primary School did "Fantastic Mr Fox".

In high school I was a tall bass-baritone with facial hair, so I ended up playing fatherly figures in a few shows (MacLaren in Brigadoon, Arvide in Guys & Dolls). I got to play a Cossack and do a little stage fighting in Fiddler on the Roof; that was kinda fun.

In college, my roommate and I co-directed and co-starred in a short play in which I got to play a retired, cynical, God.

Yeah, I've performed in Jazz ensembles and a spring musical in High School. Haven't done much since then.

I've been on the news.

*Glares*

What? I didn't do anything. It was about sports.

Well, I've always been an acting enthusiast (not good enough to go professional). Most recently, I was in my school's production of Much Ado About Nothing. The play sucked (director changed setting to 1940), but I had fun.

I was on the news once, when our school was hosting an environmental film festival.

I was actually one of the people they were going to use for an episode of True Life, but they went instead with the thespian chick who looked younger and had more family drama than I.
Of course, that episode was never actually made, to my knowledge.

Of course, now I'm kinda thankful 'cause in retrospect, I wouldn't want my socially awkward freshman self to be MTV fodder...

I took part in playing Mr.Big for the Get Smart play at my school and Bill Murray's character in Little Shop of Horrors, again for a school play.
