Last time I was in a play was in the Sixth Grade. It was all after school, yummy. Anyway, it was Midsummers Night Dream, and I was Demetrius. :3

On stage? Just the last-year primary school musical. They cut out my solo...*grumbles* A part of me would like to be on stage a couple of times, just for kicks, see how it is. Acting is awesome you know.

I was also in the local paper once, proudly on the front-page at that, when I completely smashed the opposition (as in, in the last round, I was the only one to actually press the buzzer and answer questions, correctly, the other teams asked the referee if they could stop me, they couldn't) in a quiz and won a computer for my school.

In retrospective, it was winning that computer that got me into RTS games. It included a copy of Age of Empires 2 (don't ask me why), which I was allowed to try out a couple of times. I was captivated by it, and got it myself.

Back in 4th grade I was in a play and I only had one line. I was happy to only have one line. Stage fright and all.

Not exactly a show, but yes, a stage in front of 500 people. I read a passage of poetry from Ovid's Metamorphoses, in Latin. It was approximately 17 lines, and I spent 5 months preparing it. The good news is that I can now sight-read, in proper meter, any Latin work written in dactylic hexameter.

Other than that, I can't do stage because, while I'm excellent at dialogue, I fail at monologue. I'm not in the drama stream at my school, so any dramatic thing I could do (for class projects, extracurriculars, etc.) is either one-liner or LEAD ROLE, so I'm kind of stuck. Ah well.

I make home movies and I act all the time... I dont go to public school, so no plays for me really...
:(
I'm confused, are you American?

Only, in the UK, schools for the Public are called "State Schools", whilst private schools are called "Public Schools"

Odd, I know

Plenty of times. I was a drama geek. Being 6'6" I was always cast as a character that is intimidating. Lemme think.... I was Tybalt ir Romeo and Juliet, the title role in dracula. I got to be a Troll, Gollum, and operate Smaug's head in 'the hobbit.' At a local theatre. Couple of other things too.
My twin brother elected to run lights and props and things like that. This upset many a director who very much wanted to use twins in the show. (Usually as background characters) However he finally caved when in college we were TweedleeDee and TweedleDum in Alice's Adventures in Wonderland (also the queen of heart's guards.)

Good times. Those acting skills have came in handy when I became a Police Officer.

I used to do Drama in GCSE however we did more work then practical stuff... Last true play i was in was in first school. I did have to do a short play for my GCSE finals but i only had a small part in which i got slammed against the metal vent and had to scream. Ow it hurt like hell after, massive bruise on my arm because of it.

I did my school musicals 7th and 8th grade. It was pretty fun, because even though for the first one I had 5 line sin the last scene I got praise XD. Same for the other part, people seemed to like me more than the leads.

But as now in high school theater is a class on its own, I can't do plays anymore.
