Anyone got L4D2 uncensored? D:>

I've got L4D2 on disc, and I've been playing it, but, without the gore, its just not as good..
So (FOR THE FULL VERSION) has anyone managed to find a way to uncensor it? If so, post it here, or just discuss it. Possible ideas etc. :3

But the demo was EASILY able to be uncensored. So why not the full game??

I understand that there is a way to uncensor the PC version, although I have no idea how. Sorry I can't be of more help.

If I had to guess, and as I don't work in game design I do, I'd say that the demo had the content disabled for your country, while the full game was shipped without said content in your country.

Could I place some of the pirated files into the folders for L4D2? Thereby adding the gore back into it? Or would Steam catch on to me? D:

Well that was only for the demo, see?
AND the numbers you had to change were 590 to 510. The full game is 550. D:

Can't provide a solution to the problem I'm afraid, but I can imagine it not being as much fun. We had a classic moment recently when we got boomered and my teammate, with a chainsaw just whirled round hitting everything in sight... When the slime cleared the circle of bodies around him looked like a scene from braindead...

If you wanna uncensor it, you talk to a guy...you kill a few people. Then you get thrown in a clink where they tell you you'll never see daylight again. Then you find a scientist and you pay him 20 menthol KOOLS for him to get you a direct line to Gabe Newall.

Then you download an Americanizing 'update' which installs all gore and a bonus Michael Atkinson zombie.

There you have it.

Keep in mind that that could theoretically work.

Realize that if you pirate it, someone out there makes money off the ads on the site you're clicking to pirate it. Just sayin', moral justification or not, that still happens.

It doesn't stop most people, and I think if you already bought the game and you're looking for a 'superior' version, I personally feel that you deserve it. (ie: getting a no-cd crack for GTA IV.)

That doesn't make it legal, though.

I know of this gaming cafe in Adelaide that has the uncensored full game except the game crashes on some of the computers every now and then. I'm not sure how they got it uncensored though.

Hmmm... Would it be feasable to change your country settings on your computer/steam account, and just buy it off of there? I mean, sure the idea is a bit late, but could it work?

I don't understand why you cant order the normal version online somewhere and have it shipped. Or have some one in a non censoring country by it and send it to you.
