Anyone have a decent hangover cure?

My head hurts. Yes, it's entirely my fault, but I dislike living with the consequences of my actions.
So yeah, heavy drinking night last night, ended up crashing on a friend's sofa (which, bizarrely, is more comfortable than my bed...), and woke up this morning feeling like someone was holding a pokémon battle inside my skull.
So, anyone got a good way to make my hangover disappear? And, whilst we're at it, any entertaining drunken stories to share?

I combat hangovers with vodka tea.
After all, the best cure is to not sober up in the first place!

Failing that, drink lots of water.

The first and only time I had a rather sizeable amount of alcohol, at least for me, I countered it with a coke or 2 inbetween the booze and a big glass of water with some aspirin before I went to bed. I've never woken up and feeling so refreshed and relaxed, so I might do it again soon enough.

Bacon and grease.
Believe it or not he is right. The best thing I have found is extremely greasy foods with a lot of fat really help the hangover.

Note: I do not condone drinking or eating grease.

Full English Breakfast, Hydroactive Lucazade and Paracetamol

Fatty acids break down the excess alcohol in your body (make esters), Lucazade replenishes the water and the paracetamol helps with the headache.

Jobs a good'un!

Some friends and I went camping for a few days up in the mountains of colorado. Once night hit we started passing around full bottles and playing the game "I've never". Well 2 bottles of vodka, 1 jug of lemon drops, 1 bottle of whiskey and more, I drunkenly got back to my tent where i tossed up all over my brand new Droid.

As for cures...I sleep and drink soo much friggin water then wake up and sip on coffee and eat toast. It always seems to work

I simply just drink as much water as possible before passing out. I then always wake up feeling fine.

Other possible tricks is to wake up still buzzed then stay up till it is gone, fine that works well too.

Churro served with a dish of sugar and a steamy hot cup of cocoa never did me wrong. Then again I never really had a hangover despite my rather eventful outings...what? I just like my breakfast churro, gimme a break.

Oh surely something insane like urine served with ice is the most surefire cure for this malady. try it and get back to me.

Personally I've never bothered to figure this one out, hangovers aren't that debilitating as far as I see it

Hm. Surprisingly effective, if a little unpleasant. I recommend it!

Water. Lots of it.
Preferably whilst still drunk, it worked wonders for me last night, I feel mildly ok today.

But the best hangover cure I've ever found is cliffjumping. Adrenaline, water and coldness, the second you hit the water you're fine.

I find that going for a walk whilst drinking a bottle of Lucazade (or something similar) helps a lot.
And have a fry-up too; you can't go wrong with some bacon.

WHen I know ima be drinking alot I buy a big thing of Gatorade or something with electrolytes. Drink some of it before you pass the F out lol. Then if you wake up in the middle of night to pee, drink some more. Then in the morning finish it off and you should be feelin fine.

A hangover is just the bodies way of saying you are really dehydrated.

The only medically proven method is drink lots of water and exercise, eg go for a run
