I had the language delay problem at early years but I've seem to grow out of it but every now and then I have difficulty pronouncing what I want to say. It's not helpful when trying to meet new people and you cant even pronounce what you want to say.

But I've had pluses like I get a lot of freebies for uni like new laptop, ipod , recording equipment ect

Only when I get angry.

How do you manage to get the freebies? Because its a disability?

It counts as a disability in some format. Depending where your from and age it really helps like extra time for exams.

Semi-disability: I broke my back in three places when I was 18. The spinal cord wasn't touched and I had my upper spine fused, so I don't know if that counts. I did get a lifetime handicapped parking decal out of it, so yeah I'm disabled

I have aspergers. Which wouldn't actually hinder me much if it wasn't classed as a disability. Now I have idiots who think I can't do anything, or people who think I'm a pathetic self diagnoser.

I'm blind as a bat if I don't have my handy dandy vision enhancement device.

I'm incredibly nearsighted, and by that, I mean anything more than 8 inches from my eyes is blurry to the point it's unrecognizable.

It's not that bad and you don't really get anything out of it, but I get terrible headaches and eye strain if I lose my glasses and can't wear them for prolonged periods of time.

Fuck 'em. Aspergers has a way of showing you who you can really count on in life. I should know. Funnily enough, though, I never thought of it as a disability. I see so many things clearly that other people would ignore in favor of their own asses.

Yes, several of them. Only real accommodation I have is the parking hang tag. Working at home is huge, but in return I make almost nothing, so I can't exactly call it a "freebie".

AUTISM IS A DISABILITY YOU FUCKS!!!

As a individual with aspergers syndrome diagnosed by Dr. Zacamari himself, who also had to spend most of their schooling with an aid following them around, who keeps getting accused of 'yelling' when getting into a heating discussion, who can't make and keep friends to save their soul, who has people thinking they are an immature idiot despite being college educated going to university this fall... I can say that this is a debilitating disorder.

I take offense whenever I hear people claim that it isn't. Do you realize that only a small fraction of autistics stand a change of being a productive member of society?

You have a serious problem, not being able to read others and receive and acknowledge social queues, and I wish you would accept that. Seriously, how easy has your lives have been for you to think not being able to understand and react in social setting isn't a big enough deal for it to be a disability?
Yeah, I don't have Aspergers or any sort of autism but I knew a kid who was amazingly clever (was booted up two years in high school) but had no social skills. People freaked him out, he claimed to not believe in friends and was just very difficult to talk to. Now, don't know if he had autism and I'm not going to make assumptions, but many of my friends were going on about how smart he was and how easy life was gonna be for him, and I did say, yeah he's smart but what use is that when you've got very poor social skills.

You can't claim that social skills aren't as important as logic and intelligence, I'd agree that Aspergers is a disability (but I'm no doctor, so my opionon is pretty bloody worthless)

I have mild form of Aspergers if you count that (and before you ask it was diagnosed by a medical professional not a bloody Internet survey or something.) It's not something I wish to exploit, or to an extent even acknowledge. Nobody outside my family knows and it wasn't disclosed to me until I was 17 (although I was diagnosed at about 3 or 4). I don't like to make excuses for myself, I know full well what I'm doing and the main reason I have a hard time socialising is that I don't put in the effort. Still, it kinda sucks though.

I have very mild OCD, nothing particularly noticeable, but it exists.

Captcha: barking mad, well, I don't think I am, but if Inglip says so I guess I am.

Other than borderline manic depression. I mean the manic part, the depression is factual.

Severe anxiety. I mean severe. But I can get over it if I need to and have emotional support. If not I go bat-shit crazy trying to avoid things.

High(high) functioning Autism Spectrum Disorder. It used to kinda be an issue, until I learned to distribute my interests and force myself to talk to people with similar interests. "Nerdy" things are a great icebreaker.

Scoliosis.

Some other things not worth mentioning related to my depression.

Behchet's, so no. I will have several eventually, but not yet. My condolences to anyone who does, all the same. The broken back sounds particularly awful.
