Anyone heard of this guy?

So I was browsing the internet (if I remember correctly looking to see if Silent Hill: Downpour (as a fan of most of the games in the series) was worth getting) and I found a series of videos on youtube (and possible other places; that's just where I watched them) called "The Rageaholic" by a guy calling himself Razorfist. I found them pretty entertaining, if nothing else, and quite a few reviews and rants brought up points I agreed with. Judging solely by the view count on youtube (not a terrific indicator I know) it doesn't look like a ton of people watch the episodes. I wanted to know if anyone here had heard of him, partially because he really seems to have a grudge against Jim Sterling, and possibly also Yahtzee (although due to his flaming sarcasm, he might actually like Yahtzee, it's hard to tell). Anyone seen these videos?

Yeah just watched the Dragon Age 2 one and I have to say he's incredibly obnoxious. He's really not funny and comes up with the most asinine complaints. Yahtzee's funny because he's witty and imaginative with his criticisms and complaints, this guy basically just yells and says fuck every third word.

And now I just watched his Skyrim review and I can safely say that this guy is a joke who should never be given a camera and recording equipment again. Seriously he bitches about the opening sequence like its the majority of the game or something and then tries to say they put it in to appeal to the "Call of Duty" crowd, the guy's just a plain idiot who just takes all the complaints that people have about a certain game and parrots them so that people will think he's agreeing with him. I fucking despise these kind of people and is just a youtube celebrity wannabee

How kind of you. I wonder what other series starting with S I got this one confused with in my fatigue addled brain... oh right, one that's pretty much nothing like it... whoops.

In regard to the dude himself, I think he comes off as a smug, calumnious, obnoxiously abrasive asshole (though how much of what you see on screen is actually him or a caricatured persona is up for debate I suppose). That being said, with regard to his actual reviews; I feel that when he isn't pettily and arbitrarily prepping up whatever internet reviewer/game site/fan base of the week he happens to take umbrage with to use as the punchline for his analogies, or brazenly straw-manning anyone who disagrees with him, he has some rather interesting opinions that he articulates well and he can be pretty damn funny at times. Take it with a grain of salt, I guess.

try TheRadBrad. he seems like a really cool guy, and he shuts up during cutscenes. he also seems really considerate to his fanbase, always asking them what they want to see next, and at the start of every series, he asks the viewer what series they found him on. really cool guy.

God fuckin' Speed. I love that guy.

He's a nice opposite to compare opinions against because he's usually not in line with what the big regulars (Jim Sterling, Moviebob, et al) say. I can't much tell whether or not he likes Yahtzee either, especially because it sounds like they agree about a great many things. Actually, he and Sterling often say the same things, even though he hates him.
He also hates Moviebob, which is totally reasonable.

Never heard of this guy prior to coming to this thread, but I wasn't expecting someone with such an inane attitude towards the games that he was reviewing. The initial one that I have seen was the L.A. Noire one, and man oh man [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1vHRMeRszw4] did he have the most condescending voice in the history of reviewers! Me being of how I didn't enjoy the game, I roughly disagreed of how it's a fun game, even if it was extremely boring to me, and how I needed "critical thinking" to enjoy a game and I say, it isn't. I can use this "thinking" for actual forensic analysis than a game that isn't executed well on the curiosity of the cases or on the redundancies so I can waste time on it, to my opinion. He just seems to take any infamous, newly released game and make it look like complete shit, no matter how good it is(maybe it's because of the pictures he uses to describe it). So all in all, don't like him, he seems to much of a fanboy when defending and a hater when opposing, it's sickening, so yeah, I agree with the second guy who posted those two paragraphs, nice going on them words. Please don't take my words earnestly, I was just blabbing on of what I thought of the guy, thanks.
