I think the second point you've made here is exactly why I'm curious as to why people here are so drawn to this particular topic. I mean, I guess it's just general morbid curiosity, or maybe people are trying to find ways to validate themselves or make themselves feel more normal (i.e. "Well now that I know that those freaks are out there I don't feel so weird anymore for my shit"). But, it just seems so tasteless in some ways, the other redundant threads, while probably more pointless, at least have the virtue of being about as harmless as it's possible to be, and while I guess this topic isn't all that harmful either, it just seems strange to me.

Well, when it's your girlfriend doing it and you know that at some point it'll go past that, but can't at that moment (generally due to parents being home) it makes it a little better, I imagine. ..I agree. I've seen literally 7 Threads in this very week about fetishes. I didn't answer any of them because I figured everyone has one, but still... it's getting to a point I feel like some Escapists like to hear about our sexualities more then anything else.

I don't think anyone knows where fetishes originate, with all certainty. In fact, I don't really know why I am either. Just am. It's like looking at any other secondary sexual part of a women to me, like breasts.

Then again, there are varying degrees of any given fetish, I believe mine is mild.
