Anyone here have a gaming mantra?

A mantra. A small phrase or a word that helps calm you so you can aim better before taking the killing shot, or striking the final blow. Something you say just as you squeeze the trigger, press the button, swivel the thumbstick.

Mine personally, is a six lettered word that cannot be said on this forum, but it is delightfully British and rather calming to me.

I religiously repeat "one shot, one kill" whenever I'm sniping in a game.

I also tend to yell "boom! HEADSHOT!" whenever I get a sweet headshot. My professors have gotten pissed at that tendency a few times.

Melee kills in everything but Saints Row 2 are always accompanied by taunts such as "Your mother is a classy lady!" and "I love your shoes!"

In SR2 however, Bat-death is always associated with me singing "Whistling in the dark" as i beat you. Or just raucous laughter. When shooting, however, i just murder you to death
