A mantra. A small phrase or a word that helps calm you so you can aim better before taking the killing shot, or striking the final blow. Something you say just as you squeeze the trigger, press the button, swivel the thumbstick.

Mine personally, is a six lettered word that cannot be said on this forum, but it is delightfully British and rather calming to me.

So escapist, what's your mantra? *Points at YOU*
Is it wanker?

Oh Shiiiiiiiii...

OT: "Game Hard, But fun. When you start taking it too seriously then quit."

sometimes i pointlessly blabber to the person next to me when we are taking turns playing single player games. but most of the time when i am in the blabber mode i am jumping on tables and waking stuff with a melee weapon or whatever. i usually don't have enought time to say something before i kill them

"I AM A MAN!!!" (Cookie for anyone who gets reference)

Outside of that, I tend to be pretty silly when I'm playing games, whether I'm just uttering complete nonsense or singing a song that's stuck in my head.

I've got a couple weird ones, often uttered while playing Halo.

The continuous string of f-words.
Spoooooooon!
TAKE IT YOU -insert insult-
Two to tango! -often while bashing-
Bust out them nerts, NERT NERT NERT. -often while teabagging-
I'm ready to throw down....FOR CHRIST!

Most of them are self explanatory, the last one is just random.

"No kill like overkill." That's my motto which I live by in any game I play. After all, if you can kill it with a nuclear warhead or a flamethrower, why settle for a silenced pistol or a knife?

My phrase that I use in clutch moments (like 1v1's) is "It's just another kill."
Because really, there is no difference between a clutch kill and a regular kill. It's all the same, it's just another point on the scoreboard, and there is no need to be nervous about it.

"Get some." I just say it a lot when I am playing competitively. Helps me focus a lot more on winning, not just screwing around.

My mantra is this: "if you're dying, you're not doing it wrong, you just don't have epic enough music. If Guilty Gear doesn't work, use BlazBlue. If BlazBlue doesn't work, use Kamelot. If Kamelot doesn't work, use Nightwish. If Nightwish doesn't work....the only solution is DragonForce."

And if I manage to pull off a sick kill I will occasionally say "Smokin' Sick Style!". Curse you DMC4. Next thing I know I'll be yelling "PURE PLATINUM" because of Bayonetta.

I can't believe that I'm going to admit to saying "Aw yeah! Ninja with the drumsticks!" if I make 100% on a song in RockBand. *smacks head*

"I AM A MONSTER TRUCK THAT WALKS LIKE A MAN!"

Okay yeah I got nothing, but that thing still cracks me up every time.
