I was really bored, so I sat down and watched some TV. then I saw A commercial for the 8th- excuse me, 7th part two, when I thought... "They're making the last movie already? It seems just yesterday when I picked up the first book, and watched the first movie..." Then, I decided to commemorate the end of the series by rereading every book, and watching every movie. Right now, I'm at the fifth book. So since I'm halfway in my rereading of a series, I was wondering if any of you guys had started rereading any series. So..........
Discuss.

I pretty much re-read certain books from the Midkemia/Riftwars overworld series-es-es-es on a regular basis... 'cos the universe is so rich with detail, Raymond's a damned good author, and I like Miranda!

That and the FitzChivalry Farseer books... I race through them and re-read the final pages of 'Fool's Fate' really slowly...

I've read Harry Potter a few times. It was mainly to catch up when a new book was released, though, so I think I'm done with it for a while. I'm also quite fond of the Ciaphas Cain series from Warhammer 40k.

I have read quite a few long series like Gaunt's Ghosts, Ciaphas Cain (HERO OF THE IMPERIUM!) and of course Sharpe. The only series I have actually re-read is A Song of Ice and Fire before the release of A Dance With Dragons, because its been so long since the last book.

I'm rereading the Foundation (Isaac Asimov) series and to be honest don't love it as much as I did when I was 20. I might give up and read Catch-22 for the 6th time.

Do comic books count? I think I'm going to re-read the Walking Dead comics that I own (The first three trade paperbacks) this week in preparation for the new TV season.

I've currently just started reading The Gathering Storm, book 12 of The Wheel of Time series because I recently bought book 13, Towers of Midnight, and need to familiarise myself with events again. I was going to reread the whole series but I did that when The Gathering Storm came out and it took me a fucking long time. Besides, I'm pretty familiar with the events of those ones.

I rarely ever reread books, unless I'm absolutely in love with it (Catch-22), but The Wheel of Time is so massive that you kinda need to reread the previous one to remind yourself what the hell is going on....

EDIT to praise this guy:

My favourite book of all time so far. It's only recently that I've come across someone who is only a whisker away from knocking it off the top spot.

Six times would be far too much for me though...I guess it depends how long you wait before rereading it though, right?

I've read Catch-22 twice, with a 3/4 year gap in between. But then...I dislike rereading books...dunno why.

Right now I'm rereading A Song of Ice and Fire, or at least A Game of Thrones.
Waiting for Winds of Winter is going to be a *****. After that I might go back to Ciaphas Cain or perhaps the Imperial Guard series.
