Anyone know a good game that is similar to the 1981 classic heavy metal?

I love this movie. does anybody know a game like it? or at least a game where i can make my character look like Taarna?

Depends on what you mean. The movie was a string of shorts, based on a bunch of one off comics that ran in Heavy Metal Magazine over the years. They range from scifi set in a world similar to Alien, to fantasy set in a world similar to Conan the Barbarian, so there's a lot of stuff to look at. If you want something like the very last short, you're probably looking at some kind of RPG, either one of the lesser known JRPGs (Lunar comes to mind for some reason, even though it's not all that similar) or a D&D game based on first or second edition.

There was a game called Heavy Metal FAKK 2 for PC. It was pretty bad to be frank.

Maybe you could play the original Bloodrayne or something.

But if you want to make your character look like the character from that movie then there are probably 1000 mods for Bethesda games you could use.

Brutal Legend?

It doesn't have a hot female protagonist, but there's an amazing metal/rock soundtrack, a mystical heavy metal themed open world and a great story. The RTS bits are awful though.

Eh, the game closest is a to Heavy Metal is Brutal Legend... at least in terms of tone and music...

As others have said, Brutal Legend is about as close are you are going to get.
