Anyone Know A Good Online Game?

FPS: HL2 Deathmatch, CSS, L4D, Killing Floor.

RPG: Titan Quest.

MMORPG: WoW, WAR, LOTRO, most things but everquest.

RTS: DOW series (AVOID DOW2, it ruined the franchise), Age of Mythology, Battle for Middle Earth.

turn-based: Heroes of Might and Magic 3 to 5. all are awesome.

It is a great RTS game and the online community create millions of maps, quite a few of them are quite intuitive and fun to play.

Team Fortress 2 is free this weekend as said. Give it a go and if you dont like it you will have lost nothing. Warning though you will like it.

DDO is about the only fantasy mmo to be actually different. Would recomend giving the trial a go to see if its to your taste though (it may be a little too different to the games you've named.)

No. There aren't any.

Maybe keep an eye out for Love, but that's about the only one that looks half-promising right now. Everything else is the same old boring level-grinding, mind-numbing rubbish.

But I'd recommend Counterstrike source for FPS and guild wars for free to play MMO.

I just started on the Orange Box, so far its all been mediocre, so I can't really recommend Team Fortress. Left 4 Dead is too short to recommend. Besides that I don't know, wish I could think of something.
