Anyone know a video recorder that doesn't lag?

For some reason, when I try Xfire, or Fraps, all of them when I record (except for debut but that can't record most games) it causes my game fps to drop from 60(s) to 20 fps... It's quite annoying. Anyone know a good one that won't cause lag? And my comp isn't bad, its just recorders I have used.

You could try DxTory or PlayClaw. PlayClaw takes advantage of multiple cores, since most games only use one core PlayClaw let's you use your spare cores to dedicate for recording and realtime compression of the file. At high compression 1 min of 1080 recording is around 400MB.
