Steel series siberia are wonderful. I literally never want to buy a different headset again. >.>
They just fit. (well atleast for me)
They're a tad pricey though usually around $100 in AUS.

I was just about to ask if anyone has anything good to say about these...the suspension design is (supposedly) supposed to make it so they squeeze less and the cups looks nice and comfortable. On amazon i'm seeing them for about $77-90 which is definitely on the high end of acceptable, but for something that i'm going to constantly wear on my head...it may be worth it.

as for the TB X11's...can't seem to find them anywhere (newegg, amazon, even tried sites like bestbuy and walmart) so i guess they're out of the question as i couldn't even really find an acceptable TB model that replaced them. the carcharis are still an option but i may be leaning more toward the steel series for that price.

but seriously, thanks everyone for you input, I value it all greatly.

I have Turtle Beaches in my house. I'm not sure which type, I just know they're wired and cost £60something.
I haven't really used them but when I have they're comfortable for a bit, but then they make my ears sting and keep falling off my head. Good sound quality though.

I use Logitech G930 - their wireless, or wired if you want to charge them while wearing them
Very cooshy earphones, volume knob on left hand side, flexible mic.

Still pricey though, even on Amazon
As someone who uses the wired-only version of these (G35) I can attest to their comfortability.

Logitech G35 surround sound headset. Kinda pricey, but it feels so soft. :l

My only problem with them is that the cable is way too thick and hard. I had to spend about 2 hours bending mine out so it wouldn't curl up at the slightest hint of movement.
Steelseries Siberia are also damn comfortable, but they leak quite a bit of sound.

Yeah, the cable is slightly cumbersome. Probably the only downside imo. Brand new they're $129, but you can get it for half or so on ebay.

I have the SteelSeries Siberia V2. [http://www.amazon.co.uk/SteelSeries-Siberia-Full-Size-Headset/dp/B002Q8IHEK/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1335875532&sr=8-2]

They are ridiculously comfortable, by far the best headset I've ever had. They also sound beautiful. I once fell asleep wearing them, they're just that comfortable. ^_^

yeah i think based on everyone's opinion and just what I like in general, the steelseries siberia's are my best choice and are definitely the ones i'm going to try next. Thanks for all the suggestions everyone. If the siberia's don't work out i'll probably try the G35s.

I really do appreciate everyone's help and opinions. Thanks.

Got a set of Turtlebeach XL1's for Christmas, and I love it. My only problem is that my brothers and friends have a strange habit of wanting to talk to me once I put 'em on.
