Anyone playing Red Alert 3 at the moment?

I've had it for a while but in the steam sale last week I picked up the expansion and I feeling it, man.

I've not played the mini-campaigns yet, so I can't really speak on them, and I'm a little confused as to why they didn't include multiplayer in the game (or even just an option to use the new units in bog standard RE3), but I'm loving the challenge mode. Some of them are really, well... challenging, and while it's a simple addition, adding a par time to each challenge gives the whole deal a lot of replay value. Best thing about it though is that there's none of that cammpy acting crap invading your game, just a "I'm you opponent" at the beginning and a "Oh shit, I'm dead" at the end.

Over all the expansion is a vast improvement over the base game (just: why no multiplayer?).

Hi, another RA3 fan here.
There is no multiplayer in Uprising because the units are way unbalanced. (And I think the allies got the swetest deal)
The Harbinger is way too powerfull, I mean it's tough as a Kirov, powerfull as one too. And then It can shoot farther and moove faster (and I think it even has self repair XD ).
Besiders they got the cryo legionaire which is quite powerfull too and the Pacifier can do a lot of damage if you can hit something.

On the other hand there is the Empire with... Archer Maiden? come on, the allies have a flying proton colider and my favourite team got a archer?
Also, the Ronin may look cool but its just a melee tank.

And the russians got the worst, specially the reaper. It's either a terrible unit or I can't figure out in what situation could it be of any use.
The mortar cicle is really cool though

Really, I thought that the Reaper was pretty powerful. I mean it's an anti-tank/air unit that can pass as an anti-infantry unit. It can crush a tank with its jump and go prone for damage resistance. That's pretty powerful.

I agree that for the most part the new units are a little unbalanced though and that the Archers suck. You can buy Tengu for about the same price.
