A while ago there was talk of a game that would fuse single player and multiplayer together into a thing called cross player. The games name was The crossing. It was supposed to be a revolutionary FPS that Valve and Arkane studios were working on. But they halted development on it some time ago. They said that they would pick it back up sometime in the future and i was wondering, could this be valves "Big surprise?? I honestly do not think so but it would be nice to see.
So that still begs the question. What do you think "Cross player" really is? Is it like Perfect Dark where one player would try to complete the mission as Joanna and the other player would be an enemy that tried to stop her? Or will it be more like an open MMO that random people could join in as a NPC (I really hope not). Do you even think they will continue on the game?
