The first one is an absolute classic. It's actually one of my favourite films ever. However it starts getting progressively worse after that though. 2 is poor, 3 is bad and 4 is just atrocious. Ass-Blasters? Really?

Only ever seen Tremors 1 and 2 - are the others any good at all?

EDIT: Obviously if I read the thread I'd know the answer to that question. Sorry. Carry on without me.

I still watch tremors 1 from time to time when it runs on encore, but only if it's in HD.
What is so bad about it not being in HD that is unworthy of your watching?

OP The first Tremors was amazing, a great movie. The second one tried to add more comedy but was still alright. The third was horrible in my opinion and which lead to me not even trying to watch the fourth.
It's not that it's unworthy of my watching, it's just that I've seen it too many times, so unless it's in HD it doesn't grab my attention anymore.

Just bought a 4-pack of the Tremors series. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tremors_(film) Have you ever heard of the movies and did you like them?
Watched it when I was younger, fucking terrified me. Then again, so did House of the Dead 1.

Just watch all 4 today and yesterday. First two were great, three was no good and forth was "meh". I bought the action pack at Walmart, if you are interested on buying it. could be on Amazon.

I've seen them all. Strangely I enjoyed them more as they went on. The first one was trying to be a good film but naturally failed miserably due to taking itself oh-so-seriously, however as the series went on it started realising that it was rubbish and camping it up wildly, making the later entries into the series extremely enjoyable in a "so bad it's good" kind of way...

Loved the first, then like most series with unplanned sequels the others in my opinion just got progressively worse. I will still watch the first one when I feel nostalgic and want to relive that part of my youth.

Some of the best movies ever! Tremors 2 remains squarely in my top ten films. It's just awesome.

Not to mention the TV series if FINALLY coming to DVD after all these years. So I can have all my Tremors goodness.
Your kidding me! The only episode I can really remember is the weird half-rhino half-fur thing that escaped from the lab terrorising the neighbourhood.

I love Tremors - it's incredibly funny and not all that scary. Brilliant way to while away a night working. Though I lent my boxed set to a friend, and I keep forgetting to ask her for it back whenever I go home (away at Uni).
