Anyone signed up for the GW2 beta?

As above? I have and damn I hope I get in.

Guild Wars was the only MMO I've ever been able to enjoy. Me and my mates used to run a big social guild back in the day, we had about 60 active members, a big alliance, lots of events and competitions, it was sweet.

And all these video's cropping up on the youtube are building unhealthy levels of hype for me, I've already been planning out what chars, weapons and skills I'm gonna go for.

Charr Necro, if anyones interested, who will continue the story of my epic Necro Minion Master from GW1, can't wait.

Yeah I sign up as soon as I saw it a couple of hours ago and got that noreply email thanking me for signing up.
Figner cross now that we will get into the beta (my pc better meet to their standard since I built it last Christmas just to run the game)!

I'm signed up, now I just hope I get chosen, mainly so I can see if this system will have any trouble running it. It runs the first one no problem, but I know they've said the specs will be higher for number two.

I just did now, I wanna play it just to confirm some things, primarily that my PC can run it but I'm also curious about the combat system. I've spent a ridiculous amount of time playing Guild Wars (5000+ hours or some shit), and the changes to the combat system kinda leave me wondering. GW1 isn't perfect and I'm all for change, I just want GW2's system to retain some level of skill, be it through weapon swapping or whatever I don't care, as long as it has depth. Other than that, I'm kinda looking forward to it now (I wasn't before), I've accepted the fact that the "dynamic world" is going to be pretty dumbed down and after looking at some videos from the press beta I really like how it works. I think a lot of people will be disappointed with some features like that though.
