So far it's either I already have it, or not discounted enough. I've got my eye on Mankind Divided, but not sure if I wanna pull the trigger, I've got a few games keeping me busy and I'll be pissed if it goes for sale cheaper in winter. But probably won't, I'm guessing the same.

Gotta finish Dying Light, play some R6: Siege, and some driving sims before that.

Well because of this thread "Pathologic" has my eye. Maybe I'll get it tomorrow.

Im wondering if I should wait for the Winter Sale, cause I dont know if the sales will be better then. Alot of these sales are 50% or lower.

I dont have tons of cash to spend, and wont until after the holidays anyways.

Most of the high sales are for already cheap games.
Yeah, these sales aren't great.

It used to be that it wasn't a real steam sale unless everything you wanted was 75% off.

I only have one game I want that's 75% off right now, most of the others are 50% or even a laughable 33%.

Tis a sad time.

I think maybe the Winter Sale will be better, maybe. I dont see the need for this weird pre-Winter Sale.

I grabbed Dragon age inquisition GOTY for 11pounds on origin I've been meaning to get this for a while so hopefully I get the time outside farming herbs on WoW to give this a run.
I have been eyeing Recore too it's going for about 20pounds, it looks pretty fun and I was hyped for this before it came out then it seemed to just fade away...

Same.

I'd never heard of it before, but after reading the synopsis and some reviews, it's made it into my cart. Sounds very intriguing.

You guys probably read my comment, but I'll expand a bit. Note that I strongly recommend the game (especially at how cheap it is) and think it's an underrated gem in the mud, the game can be frustratingly difficult and opaque. The narrative is exceptional, and the game mechanics while frustrating at times are highly interesting and unique, but the game makes you work for everything. Don't be ashamed if you have to consult a guide quickly while learning.

I won't give anything away, but play as the Bachelor first, check trash cans for items every day, and make sure you have a number of food items by the end of the first day.

Across all the sales going on, the ps4, xbone, and steam, the biggest thing to catch my eye is GTA5 actually being sold for under 40 bucks canadian in the digital store, and it'll probably never be cheaper. But thats still a massive 50 gig game plus whatever crap needs to be downloaded for the online which I care nothing about, so I'll wait another year or 2 for the physical version to maybe drop. I did pick up Mankind Divided and all it's dlc for 50 bucks though, which seems pretty worth it so far.

Also Steam is pretty lacking from my perspective. My entire wishlist is on sale, but hardly anything is at the "I gotta buy this now!" price.

That being said though, there are shirts I found that I really want, and they may win out over any of the deals I've seen so far.

I picked up the new Deus Ex, but nothing else on my wishlist is discounted enough to open my wallet. Maybe the winter sale will do better.

This sale I got..

Oxenfree - a Telltale-esque adventure game that ate my Tumblr feed a few months back.
Rymnreza - an arthouse zen exploration RPG roguelike about traversing the vast emptiness of cosmos.
Crypt of the Necrodancer - a mix of dance games with classical dungeon crawlers
Betrayer - an experimental mystery and exploration FPS about uncovering the mysteries of lost Spanish colonies.

I was wanting Eve: Valkyrie but couldn't find anyplace that had it for less than full price. So I bought a bunch of new blu rays for more than half off from Target.

Could be but I went bananas. My only hope is my wife never ever for any reason whatsoever finds out what I've done. There will be no counseling or trial separation but straight to divorce if she doesn't kill me first :)

And there are actually a number of sales going on as it is Black Friday:

PS4
Far Cry Primal: Best Buy $15.
PC
Humble Bundle: Witcher 3 GOTY Edition $30
Rage: $3.50
Steam:
Tomb Raider: $30
Fallout 4: $19

I came so close to getting Doom for about $20 but I have a lot of FPS to the point this can wait. I'm betting it will come down to $10 on sale within a year.

Toss up between Tomb Raider and Witcher 3 for prettiest game on which I've ever laid eyes.

Thinking about buying Witcher 3 and Just Cause 3, both with season passes, for less than 50 bucks.

Problem is, I am moving to PC soon, so I'm wondering if its worth it.

You can get both on Steam for roughly the same price atm - although all the JC3 DLC will set you back a bit extra from the looks of it.

Steam has the Witcher 3 GOTY for $30. A good deal. I grabbed it.

I didn't know about Just Cause 3. Uh Oh. My wallet is crying out in pain.

I picked up Dishonored Definitive Edition and Tales of Symphonia on Steam, figured it was time to see what all the hub-bub was about with Dishonored and the Tales series

I also got Dragon Age: Inquisition GOTY on Origin, I've wanted to play it ever since it was announced but other RPGs (Pillars of Eternity, Witcher 3, Fallout 4) kept getting in the way.

Altogether I think I spent $16.78 on the 2 Steam games and $14.38 for Dragon Age (got it via third party site) so a little over 30 bucks for 3 rather robust game experiences that should hold me over for quite awhile, all in all I'm pleased so far, I have only got to play a little of Dishonored so far but I'm sure I'll enjoy the other two games as well!

I kinda want to pick up Megadimension Neptunia at 60% off, but I still haven't finished Re;Birth 3 and probably won't by time Christmas rolls around so if the Christmas sale has it as deep off or more then i'll feel smart lol
I considered getting more Hyperdimension games myself but I've barely scratched Re:Birth1 and I've told myself many times to quit buying games just to round out a series that I haven't even finished one game in... I'm bad about that.

Fallout 1 & 2 are in a cheap bundle. Learning to play is like operating a coffee machine with none of the buttons labelled, but I'm getting there.
Playing the older Fallout games are a bit of a chore these days, I have fond memories of them, but reality is none too kind to my nostalgia and whenever I fire up Fallout 2 I never make it past the prologue dungeon anymore.

For Just Cause I'm not sure it really matters, but The Witcher is definitely a superior game on PC, I wouldn't worry too much though, both those games will be on sale a lot (I know JC3 is fairly new but if JC2 is any indication, it goes on sale ALL the time)

Got JC2 and figure, be satisfied with it for now. Agree with you about Witcher 3: toss up to the prettiest game I've seen to date. W3 or Rise of the Tomb Raider. Got em both. Now the tricky part: finding time to play them.

The Fallout 2 prologue is horrible. If you don't have a build with good melee skills it's essentially impossible. Fallout 1 is better, although I'm not a huge fan of the combination of lack of clear objectives and time limit.

I also bought Deus Ex and Thief 2 today. Not played much of either yet. The framerate on Deus Ex tanks whenever there's any water, which is odd.

I wanna play through them but...that time limit in 1 is intimidating, and the game is really hard. I was expecting something more Baldur's Gate than it is.
